Andrea Kurland is Executive Creative Director at TCO, a creative agency and the makers of Huck and Little White Lies. Both are premium print magazines, websites and film channels that celebrate independent culture and film respectively. Prior to starting at Huck in 2006 – just before the first issue went to press – Andrea studied International Development and Politics followed by a postgraduate diploma in Journalism. Since 2010, she's directed Huck's editorial line, overseeing original photography, journalism and short film commissions from ideation through edit to publication, and now oversees all editorial output from white-label brand work for TCO's wide range of clients, through to brand partnerships as well as owned-brand content. Hello, I'm Zoe, a filmmaker born & bred in London. I've worked in the industry for over 6 years, starting off as a humble delivery driver supplying productions around the UK with all the optical, camera, lighting and grip equipment they needed. Today I love working behind the camera, whether as a self-shooting PD or working alongside a full crew, I just love to shoot. But it's not all camera camera camera for me. Before going freelance I spent 4 years working in-house at an agency as a Producer & Director, working predominantly on big fashion campaigns, live shows and documentaries. I have the upmost respect for the fashion industry, having had the privilege to work from the inside for many years and the good fortune to maintain my old clients so I can continue to collaborate. Since being freelance, I've branched out into sport and live action, given my own love and passion for competition, fitness and documenting humans pushing the boundaries.
