I am an avid videographer who has been making films since 2011. My first project was a short web series and from there I branched out into narrative filmmaking, commercial videography and production, wedding videography, and live streaming. As an independent filmmaker, I often find myself wearing many hats from pre- production through post production. My skills and experience includes directing, cinematography, editing, storyboarding, color grading and basic mixing and mastering of audio. I have also created simple animations and title sequences.

In 2017, received a grant from the Iowa Arts Council to work on “Immigrant Luchadores”, a photo documentary, to give voice to Latino immigrants. This has become my long-term personal work, center on highlighting the life and struggles of Latinos, immigrants, and minorities in the US.

Growing up in Lubbock, Texas, I had a passion for storytelling and it was something I never grew out of. Because of this, my imagination had a significant role in leading me down this career path and now I have over 10 years of experience in the professional field. Although most of what I know is self-taught, I recently graduated with a Bachelors's Degree in Cinematography to create a solid foundation for storytelling to help keep me at my full potential. While I'm on the job, whether behind the camera or controlling event lights, I love being able to tell a story and collaborating with clients and actors to help bring the story to life. My work can be seen nationwide in music videos, commercials, flyers, and promotional products. I take pride in these projects and it always brings a smile to my face knowing that my clients are satisfied with their final product.
