Emily Taylor, a Black woman and rock climbing coach in Oakland, CA strives to empower her students through her Brown Girls Climbing program, and connect them to the outdoors. ConnectEd produces a Day in the Life video series for high school students to explore non-traditional careers. Together with our assistant and intern, we filmed these young entrepreneurs including all the accompanying broll that you see. We staged the interviews together, and while they filmed them, I conducted the interviews.
