FedEx has demonstrated the power of its delivery service in ‘Show the World’, a global campaign documenting the round the world journey of one man’s bottle of hot pepper sauce. The campaign stars Llewellyn Clarke from the island of Nevis in the Caribbean who, thanks to FedEx, achieves his dream of having his hot pepper sauce enjoyed throughout the world. Ron LeBlanc and his team of Gem Hunters explore Zambia in search of the country's high quality emeralds and amethyst. Zambia is famous for its emeralds, and their color and clarity are perfect for the North American market. Only half of Zambian families live within three miles of a health facility and they may have to cross rough terrain to get there. For many pregnant women, it can be nearly impossible to access quality care in a timely fashion. If an emergency arises, this distance challenge can become a matter of life and death. The Maternity Waiting Homes Alliance aims to overcome this distance challenge. I presented the idea and pitched it. After it was approved, I set up interviews, filmed and edited. Hosted by the dynamic and multi-talented Mutale Nkonde Kapaso and streamed to thousands of women via the WOW Woman Zambia Facebook page, it chronicles the growth of leading women in various sectors. The Show also offers tips on financial management, beauty, fashion, diet, and relationships.
