I'm a freelance cinematographer based in Mérida, Venezuela, who has covered from protests, politics, environmental issues and extreme sports stories. I recently was the main videographer for an Associated Press documentary called Vanishing Venezuela, that details the work of scientists trying to study the country's last glacier. For that video, I filmed ground images in Mérida during massive blackouts, interviews and also their first climbing expedition to the Humboldt glacier at over 14,000 feet. I've also filmed in the Himalayas and recently in Venezuela's largest peak, Pico Bolívar. I'm passionate about filming, climbing, nature and photography, and very versatile when it comes to filming and editing. I have my own equipment, which includes a MavicPro 2 drone and Sony A7 iii camera, with a varied set of lenses.
