We've worked with over 100 clients creating content. The content we've produced has amassed more than 50 million views on Youtube and has been shown on TV networks such as HTV and MTV.

About Cady V.

I have experience producing documentary films, writing feature articles, and packaging radio & TV pieces. I'm an American based in Bogotá, Colombia, with experience working in English, Spanish and French. In 2015, following dreams of being a full-time storyteller, I moved to India to co-direct a documentary about an orphanage outside the city of Hyderabad. Most recently, I served as the managing editor at Innovations | Stories, an online publication sharing the stories of social innovators all over the Global South. While at Innovations | Stories I designed and spearheaded a multimedia editorial strategy which allowed for more diverse content (a heavier focus on photo and video stories). As managing editor I supported video and photo freelance contributors from all over the world and designed storytelling trainings for social innovators to tell their own stories. I'm originally from Berkeley, California, USA and I earned my B.S. from the University of California, Davis in Community and Regional Development with a minor in Art Studio (focusing on video and photography). From 2010-2015 I directed a global education program called One World Youth Project (OWYP), based in Washington, DC. At OWYP I designed middle school (age 10-14) curriculum and trained university students to teach it around the world in their own communities. The program taught the children cross-cultural communication by empowering them to create and send video, photo, and written messages to their partner classroom abroad - all facilitated by trained university student volunteers. While serving as program director at OWYP I had the privilege of traveling around the world visiting schools and delivering trainings at universities. My work in education and the opportunity to see so much of the world made me realize I wanted to tell stories. Storytelling is the best form of education anyway.

CoopDocs nace como una red de colaboración en la que se colectivizan los proyectos que cada uno trae consigo y colaborativamente se los viabilizan gracias a la experiencia, experticia y talentos específicos de sus integrantes, sin que la ubicación geográfica sea una limitante. Reconocemos al cooperativismo como el modo de gestión para la producción audiovisual comprometida con procesos sociales y comunitarios. Fomentamos un espacio de colaboración, a través del cual se puedan viabilizar muchos de nuestros proyectos individuales que han quedado estancados por falta de apoyos económicos, institucionales y sobre todo de tiempo y equipo humano. Mirando este elemento común, decidimos abrir un espacio en la periferia de la industria de la producción audiovisual comercial, gestionado directamente por los socios y socias y funcione como espacio de apoyo, colaboración, generación de recursos que permitan dignificar nuestro trabajo y apoye a la creación y difusión de materiales comunicacionales al servicio de organizaciones sociales, comunidades y causas sociales con las que nos identificamos. OBJETIVOS -Generar un espacio de crecimiento profesional y económico para los y las integrantes. Avant-Garde was born in 2014 in Bogota - Colombia, by a filmmaker that wanted to have the creative freedom to develop his ideas and grow professionally in a country that is a current hub of video and sound production worldwide. In the beginning, we dedicated ourselves exclusively to audiovisual projects, and we complemented our portfolio, providing services such as; rental and loans of equipment for the entertainment industry. In 2017, we made a strategic alliance with Aura Records to strengthen our services in sound design and music production, offering premium services that meet international standards of quality. Three years later, at the beginning of 2020, we expanded our headquarters to provide a physical space development of artistic and multicultural projects.
