These are just some of the questions we answer. ⚫️ The presidential election in Belarus, which took place on August 9, 2020, is a turning point for Belarusian civil society. Since the second half of May, rallies of support for opposition candidates have taken place in the country. The rigged results of the elections and the police aggression that took place between August 9–11 convinced the Belarusians to firmly state: "it's enough". The protests have been going on for the fourth month now. ⚫️ This movie is the first episode of the "Canaries" mini-series. We show the work of independent journalists and the initiatives they create in various countries around the world. In the first season, we will introduce to you the heroes and heroines from Belarus, Japan and Colombia, among others.
