Project was created, shot and produced in house. Footage shoot on Canon C300 Mark II (4k), Sony A7S2 (4k) and C300 Mark I (HD). Short film commissioned by the Mississippi Forestry Commission to tell the story of urban forestry in Oxford, MS. Promotional piece for client that told the story of devastation of Louisville, MS from a 2014 tornado and how building a new hospital facility i bringing hope to the community. The First2 Network is one of eight Alliances across the country funded through the NSF INCLUDES initiative. The First2 Network (First2) aims at improving the college enrollment rate and success of undergraduate STEM students, with emphasis on rural first-generation students through their first two years of college. At the core of that shared vision to improve student STEM success is an assumption that students should be co-creators of the solutions. This is a short documentary-style testimonial featuring students, organizers, and educational and nonprofit leaders from three major universities and the Green Bank Observatory in West Virginia.
