Archel Bernard is the owner of the Bombchel Factory in Monrovia, Liberia. She's trying to give traditional Liberian and West African fashion a makeover. She also hires women hard-hit by domestic violence and Ebola. But this is no charity – the clothes are cool too. #LITRStarts is a video depicting the start of a business plan competition called the Liberia IT Revolution (LITR). In a bizarre morning in a crowded market in Barkedu, women pack their goods on stalls bringing back the pre Ebola euphoria that was characterized in business making after the market had been shut down for months due to the Ebola outbreak. Most of the women have either lost their source of income to the Ebola outbreak. PLAN Liberia help the women restart their lives that were shattered by Ebola When her mother passed away, Valerie was entrusted to her aunt who mistreated her for 12 years. She then found herself working for a woman who stole the money she saved for seam lessons. Valerie has long known blows, humiliation and even the street as a teenager but she never gave up. Sexual harassment is part of the daily life in Côte d'Ivoire. I asked several women from different social classes to share their experience with it. 4-min video to test out my new Sony a7S III and 20 mm Sony lens set at 1.8. I edited about a dozen videos at the 2020 Winter Fancy Food Show. I put descriptions, tagged them, and uploaded them on YouTube. I collaborated with the sound and video crew to create content as fast as possible. I filmed, directed, and edited this testimonial. I provided the lighting, mics, and cameras. I did five cuts for the customer, who gave me 5 stars. They placed the video at the top of their home page (multidots.com).
