My name is Samuel Wafula, a photojournalist from Kenya. I am currently a freelance photojournalist for several media houses in Kenya including Kenya Television Networks (KTN), Elevate TV Kenya, Al Huda Tv Kenya and others. I am a photographer, videographer, News and Documentary Video Editor, field producer and scriptwriter. My biggest achievements are working on TV programs that Aired on Maisha Magic, KTN, Elevate Tv Kenya and also The Kenya Girl Guides Documentary.

About Ali O.

Started as stage play writer to screen writing short stories then to video editing and later to camera work. Telling a story is all I love. This have made me work under very successful producers, film directors and DoPs, the best I know in Kenya and learnt a lot under their direction’s. With the skills learnt from the skilled in the industry puts me at a position to understand the build up of a story to meet my clients needs and wants. From documentary filmmaker to video journalism, corporate interviews, talk shows etc. The Media companies that I have worked and partnered with in the process, the individual projects I have done some that have my credits and some that don’t all have equipped me well enough to work on a project to completion. And most so this is what pays my bills, so I don’t compromise with anything. I love it.

About Oliver O.

Oliver works as an independent Filmmaker and Video journalist from Kenya. Having worked on various productions as a Director of Photography and Director in various documentaries and drama shows with over fifty documentaries to my name besides TVC's. My strong background in broadcast production has seen me move from roles in communications and media liaison to hands-on experience behind the camera. I have worked on a number of different documentaries focusing on a wide variety of subjects from human rights, health to environmental issues in a variety of roles from newsgathering, reporting and scripting to television direction. I was awarded Winner of Best Cameraman at the Annual Media Excellence Awards Kawi Awards (2013). In 2014 CNN-Multichoice African Journalist of the year Awards, our story with a colleague of mine was Highly Commended for Sports Reporting. The awards are the most prestigious on the African continent

I love working with people, and I am a great team player. I have vast connections with crew, cast and equipment in the Kenyan market. I love creating content!

About Waqas H.

Waqas is a self-proclaimed visual nerd who loves to curate stories, current affairs and coffee. He did produce a few stories since he luckily completed his college degree in film & television production and began his career as a filmmaker/video journalist. His stories are mostly playful, at times serious but always insightful. He has over a decade of experience in making video content for digital, TV and advertising from over 10 countries for CGTN, Insider, TRT World, African Stream, CCTV Africa, Grey Group and JWT. He script, direct, shoot and edit.
