I consider myself a storyteller first and a filmmaker second. I truly believe that pretty pictures without soul and purpose are simply just that, pretty pictures. Every project I take on, whether it's a documentary, corporate vignette, or commercial, I always rely on story to drive every decision made in crafting content that speaks and resonates with audiences on a deeper human level. My work has taken me from the headquarters of fortune 500 companies to impoverish villages in rural Ghana. I've had the opportunity to interview industry leaders, dreamers, artists, innovators, underdogs, victims of abuse, terminally ill patients, and activists. From bigger than life characters to normal everyday working people, we all have a story to share and yet good stories only happen to those who can tell them. I am grateful and blessed to continue my pursuit of happiness and passion to craft good stories that challenge the way we think and speak to the heart to move the mind. Over the years my work has been recognized with numerous awards including 5 Emmys and 1 Telly, and yet I feel I've only just scratched the surface. When I am not behind a camera or computer I enjoy spending quality time with my family hiking a trail, traveling, getting our hands dirty in the veggie garden or playing with our dog and chickens.

Erica Calhoun is an AP Middle Tennessee award-winning photographer & videographer currently based in Nashville, Tennessee. Born and raised in Ohio and a 2016 photojournalism alum of Ohio University, Erica has been published in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, NPR, Business Insider, Nashville Lifestyles Magazine, as well as other notable publications and gallery exhibitions. Previously, Erica worked as the Content Producer for global non-profit, Soles4Souls. Before that, as a visual journalist for the USA Today network, as well as an assistant editor and colorist for Emmy-winning Evolve Studios. When not behind her camera or editing suite, Erica can be found exploring new trails with her dog, practicing yoga or trying some new complicated recipe in the kitchen.

Addressing this lack of diversity in the coffee scene, Bartholomew launched Cxffeeblack in 2018 as an umbrella brand offering everything that the caffeine-loving hip-hop enthusiast could desire, spanning a coffee label, Guji Mane; apparel including hoodies and tees; a podcast; and, of course, music. He has since neatly packaged up this concept with documentary and world tour, offering a self described "collage-doc" sharing insight into coffee rarely discussed black history with screenings in two contents and three contras over the last year. Today, Cxffeeblack is getting attention as a player in the fourth-wave coffee movement, which focuses on socially conscious production. But Bartholomew isn't hung up on labels. ‘If people put us in the fourth wave that's cool, but the moment it stops being conducive to sharing coffee with our hood, I'm not interested. I don't care about waves, just so long as no one drowns.’
