Hello: I am a producer based here in New Jersey and New York City. I'm interested very much in human stories with a visual spine, stories that are more evergreen than of-the-moment news type of pieces. For example? One video I produced covered a New York City cab-driver, originally from Nepal, who is taking whatever extra earnings he has and sending it to build new schools for children in Nepal. I was able to showcase him in his taxi cab, as well as showing the photos he took of the children at the school. I like stories about people passionate about what they are doing, even to the point of obsession. People who go all the way in their lives. Sometimes this can have a news value, and other times, not. I am currently a senior producer at a non-profit TV station, and am also a segment producer. I earned a graduate degree from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. Thanks for reading. - Craig Thompson

As a television journalist, videographer and editor trained in investigative and field reporting, I have successfully produced award-winning stories for decade for multi-platform local and national news outlets. I grew up in New Jersey, where I read the news into my parents camcorder as a kid, so it's not surprising I wound up immersed in video production. Early in my career, I learned to pursue my instincts, rather than follow the pack. This gave me courage to leave my first news job out of college, as an assistant producer at Fox News Channel, to anchor for an online business news start up in the midst of an economic meltdown. This helped me jump into the world of on camera reporting. Over the past 12 years my career has evolved from an intern at NBC's Today Show to reporting for major-market newsrooms including PBS and PIX11. I've investigated rail safety in the wake of deadly crashes and revealed crossing equipment failures at one of the nation's largest transit agencies, prompting reparative action by lawmakers and the agency, as well as a nod from the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences. During my role as a correspondent for NJTV, I uncovered hundreds of deceased voters names still on the rolls and casting ballots. I've learned that successful stories come when you can pull the personal human experience out of the data and documents. Recently I forged a partnership that enables me to rebuild dilapidated housing in burgeoning areas of my home state, allowing me to further another passionate mission - entrepreneurship, economic development and beautifying neighborhoods in my home state. My career has afforded me the freedom to indulge in my passions for travel, wine collecting and cooking. Additional competencies: - Video & audio engineering - Video editing on Final Cut & Premiere - Image editing on Photoshop - Light coding - Web / social media

An award-winning, do-it-all Creative Director with extensive experience in bringing vision, ideas and execution expertise to concepts and brands. I am a big thinker who doesn’t limit myself to “the ask” and instead looks for “the need”. I create strategy, ideas and designs that connect with consumers and inspire them into action. I have conceived work for clients both big and small to develop exciting campaign concepts while ensuring the brand voice is heard, from directing tv and video to designing print, social, OOH and everything in between, to bring it all to life. Even if that means slipping a pair of boxer briefs on the Wall Street Bull to demonstrate GoldToe’s innovative spirit. My creative strategy includes adapting methods and ideas to suit the audience and ensure the right message reaches the right people. I am skilled in navigating exploratory processes and directing creative teams to do the same, adapting to deliver more than what was expected. My fine eye to detail and exacting standards often makes me the “last stop” before any creative material releases. I pride myself on taking projects from start to finish, ensuring consistency throughout. My natural instinct for bringing detail, balance and impact to every project - combined with my diverse set of software skills and deep understanding of modern digital languages – positions me to make my ideas shine. My experience spans many mediums as well as the scope of clients I have served. Shooting TV commercials for PSE&G/PSEG, Brother and various New Jersey State initiatives and producing creative for large consumer brands including Kraft Foods, Georgia Pacific, GoldToe, Gillette, Proactiv, JVC, General Mills, Domino’s Pizza, Olive Garden Restaurants, Purex Detergents and Perdue Chicken has afforded me the opportunity to experience marketing to a variety of target audiences. I look forward to collaborating with creative people who share my enthusiasm for outside-the-box thinking and embrace a “whatever it takes” attitude while having some fun doing it.

As a dedicated documentary director and cinematographer, I bring important questions and ideas to my audience and allow them to examine an issue as if they are experiencing it themselves. I will be very grateful for the opportunity to put the best of my creative and technical abilities to work for story hunter and the issues examined. I have over four years experience in film-making and television production including, documentary film, camera operation for local television news, and production and post-production work for independent feature film. My professional experience has taught me to be absolutely dedicated to a story and take it through to completion in spite of any challenges that arise. Sometimes hard work can reveal subtleties not readily apparent at first viewing, but which are expressed through the creative process. I am most passionate about finance, environmental issues, human interest stories, and political topics.

I started my career as a broadcast journalist, but realized that today small format video is the place to be. I created Emmy Award winning nonfiction television programming -- from traditional documentaries and news reports, to narrative driven real-life stories and magazine-show segments. At the same time, I was the creative force behind engaging and involving cross-platform videos. Besides developing and producing programming for PBS, ABC, CBS, Discovery and HBO, I also have extensive business media experience. That includes Video News Releases and digital video projects, distributed worldwide, geared to both professional and general audiences. Clients included Johnson & Johnson, Edelman Communications, Novartis, Vanderbilt University, Trinity Television and Save the Children. Essentially, I am a storyteller, and I love what I do. I use the experiences of unique, empathetic characters to tell stories that captivate and engage audiences. Its a skill that has taken me across the United States and around the world, with extensive periods of time spent in China. Still, you often find the best stories just down the block...

I like telling hidden, character-driven stories with a video camera. I have a passion for people and a dedication to excellence. I've been doing journalism since I was 10 years old and there's not enough I could learn about the art of telling stories. After graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in telecommunication and film with a focus on sports broadcasting, I decided to share my passion with future generations as a 2013 Teach For America corps member where I taught 7th grade for two years. I am a Master's of Journalism Candidate at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University where I am grateful to be able to focus on documentary storytelling. I've produced videos with social justice, sports, music/entertainment, and political themes. I'm appreciative of my past experiences and excited for what's next.

I'm a videographer of 8 years based in New Jersey having worked on an assortment of event videos, independent commercials, ads, sketch videos, and short films. I currently use a Panasonic GH5s and edit through Adobe Premiere. I created, filmed, and edited a small YouTube series known as "Coffee Date with Starbucks" where each episode highlighted a manufacturing partner in the New York City Reserve Roastery, as a way to hype the countdown to the 2018 opening. I've also done some independent videos within Starbucks for programs like NEXT, which highlights partner leadership within the network as well as the NYC Roastery Instagram page. I also co-wrote, co-produced, and co-directed an award winning short film called oMo, a fantastical epic about a plastic bag coming to life and guiding two masked figures to save a forest from corruption.

Hello there, my name is Krysti Sabins and I am a photographer, videographer, and all around explorer. I have always been interested in sharing unique perspectives and causes I am passionate about. On my own, I began a YouTube video series entitled "Unboring Exploring" with the intention of sharing my hiking and outdoor adventures with friends, family, and beyond. The series allows me to share my experiences so others can appreciate what I personally find important while becoming more aware of the natural world. I was recently successful in funding a Kickstarter for the series, raising money for new camera equipment. I am not afraid to experiment with new technologies or up and coming social media sites in order to promote my materials.
