I'm a filmmaker who has worked on numerous corporate, reality TV, youtube channels, documentary and even a few indie feature films, I am a music composer and on occasion, performer. I'm most interested in the subjects of travel, adventure, music and the arts, as well as cultural anthropology, philosophy and indigenous mythology. I've worked throughout the U.S., in in the jungles of Costa Rica, the wilds of Alaska, the chaotic cities and rural villages of India and along the beautiful East coast of Australia. I've been able to work in nearly every capacity on projects ranging from corporate, industrial, documentary, feature narrative and webisode. My work has been showcased at SXSW, FRIARS COMEDY FILM FESTIVAL, ALAMO DRAFT HOUSE and more places that I'm sure I have not been told about. Some projects thankfully are still "making the rounds". While much of my work consists as Director of Photography and Editor my forte' is conceptual thinking and directing people in such a way as to get the best performance from them, crew or cast.

From the Deep South to the Northeast, I've kept my curiosity for different people and cultures open. I find seeking the stories of those who have persevered through some type of tragedy the most rewarding. I try to bring a unique perspective from their world to the viewer, often using symbolic b-roll, lots of music (when appropriate), and building trust to have them tell me the most intimate and personal information. However, I like the lighter side of the world, and will focus a good amount of attention on community matters-from unique local bands to shop openings.

I currently reside in South Texas, more specifically in the Rio Grande Valley. The area sits along the US/Mexico border along the Rio Grande River. I began my career in news when I was 18yrs. old at KGBT-TV, the CBS affiliate in Harlingen, TX. Within three months of my employment, I found myself covering the landfall of Hurricane Dolly in the area as also began to cover "splashdowns" which a term coined for when drug smugglers would drive their vehicles into the Rio Grande River in order to save their drug loads from being confiscated by US law enforcement agencies. In 2010 I switched stations and began working at Entravision - McAllen which owns the Univision & Fox affiliates in the area. There I have been able to shoot and edit stories that have made their onto the "top story" slot of 'Primer Impacto' and 'Noticiero Univision'. Most recently I collaborated in acquiring footage and interviews for the Frontline/Univision documentary 'Violacion de Un Sueño'.
