Tom Saater is a Documentary photographer/Photojournalist Documentary film maker, Podcast producer, Researcher from Nigeria. In 2018, he was invited to facilitate a storytelling photography workshop at Contact Photography Festival in Toronto, and give a talk about his work at the Bronx Documentary Centre in New York. Nenrot Goyol Akinrowo is a creative producer with years of experience working with major international donor agencies having graduated with honours from the National Film Institute in Jos. Immediately after her graduation, she produced quality audiovisual content at the early stage of her career for major companies like Consolidated Media Associates in Lagos. Working in the capacity of Writer/Director and Producer, Nenrot later moved to Abuja where she worked on important projects for key global players like USAID, European Union, BBC Media Action, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, MTV Stay Alive Foundation, Mac Arthur Foundation and Safe The Children International. Her passion is producing first class entertainment through thought-provoking programs, serving the demographic she is convinced need it most. Satisfied with providing entertainment for Nigeria’s underrepresented audience, Nenrot sometimes moves away from working with international donors to manage commercial and popular projects like Sons of the Caliphate for Ebonylife, a 2016 groundbreaking TV series that has been a constant reference for its dignified modern portrayal of Northern Nigeria in our country’s popular culture.
