Aaron Hughes and Amber Ginsberg created the Tea Project to draw attention to the human rights abuses at Guantánamo Bay. Every detainee is represented by a hand-carved teacup, each of which is a flower from the prisoner’s home country. I shot, wrote, edited, and published this video in under 24 hours to help promote the opening of the exhibit in Washington, DC. This is a short film shot for the 48 Hour Film Project and published as part of the Evil Grin Gift Box web series. Witness Against Torture commissioned me to produce a video based on their public demonstrations against the US military base at Guantánamo Bay. This video captures a public reading of Guantánamo detainee Mohammed al-Hamiri's words at the White House. The Schnee Chassis tradition—here's how Brian Schnee started his legendary chassis business. A photo of a classic car in the right lighting, from the right angle, and with the right background captures someone’s artistic creation. But that brief moment in time when the camera’s shutter falls opens up a flood of emotions and memories for a car enthusiast. Even a non-enthusiast gets it. Jason lives for those moments, and for the moments he gets to build his own creation: his 1963 Chevy Impala. For Jason, as well as many enthusiasts, a car represents hours, days, months and years of dedication, artistry and craft. When you hop in, you get to enjoy all of that time, all at once, and it’s pure joy. I produced this video for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to be played at their annual Red Tie Ball fundraiser. I was a one-man-band on this project: I operated both cameras, ran audio, post production (editing, graphics, color correction). Although parts of this documentary were included in one of the demo reels already added to my profile, I wanted to add the whole project because it is my pride and joy. This short documentary depicts the life of the Henderson family and the legacy they are leaving behind.

Tessa Wedberg tells stories as a writer and filmmaker. A Nebraska native, Tessa came back to her home state to PA on her first feature film in 2001. She wrote a script called In Fountain Creek that she will produce with a close team of collaborators in Nebraska early next year. She is also beginning a project based on the film reels, photos, diaries, letters, articles and artifacts of the life of her Great Uncle Raymond Fritz called "Our Amplified Hearts."

My wife and I started our own videography business, Five C Video, in 2006. I discovered early on that a little creativity combined with the right software is key to success in a technology driven world. This understanding enabled me to learn as much as I could about Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign, Audition, and Dreamweaver. After four long years, I received my degree in multimedia with a minor in media production the at the University of Nebraska in Kearney in 2018. While I learned a lot during my time in college, most of my video editing experience came from working at KLKN-TV Channel 8 Eyewitness News, an ABC affiliate. Over the past year and a half, I edited more than one thousand shows. Not only did I learn rather quickly the importance of deadlines, I also discovered that finding the perfect balance between working independently and with a team was imperative to the success of the news station. Our team had to make sure that we were creating engaging content every day to keep our viewers interested. I chose to leave the news industry in order to fully open myself to other opportunities that required a little more creative freedom on my end. I believe my skills are easily transferable and my desire to work on projects that require a little more post-production work is unmatched. Growing up on a farm/ranch instilled a strong work ethic.
