I spent most of my career at Bloomberg TV in New York producing long-form shows on technology and innovation, as well as shorter features and interviews with top business and political leaders. I moved to Cape Town, South Africa, 3 years ago, and was Bloomberg TV Africa's tech correspondent, and then founded a startup teaching young Africans to code. I continue to freelance produce for Bloomberg and write about tech and innovation for Quartz. I've been awarded four Pulitzer Center travel grants - three for work in Cuba, one for a project in Bolivia. I travel to Cuba regularly. In 2015 and 2016, I assisted NBC’s Nightly News, led by Lester Holt, with its coverage in Cuba. I also produce videos for businesses and non-profit organizations, including Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.
