I am a bilingual French English journalist who grew up in the Alps. I studied International Journalism at Cardiff University, where I graduated with a distinction. My main area of interest lies in geopolitics and human rights. I investigated the effects of religious nationalism in Armenia, questioning democratic processes and the roles played by the church in society and politics. I have shot and edited stories on refugees from Calais to Cardiff, but also covered cultural topics from sneaker trends to the art of graffiti. Former BMX-race athlete, I am a sport-addicted which led me to cover women and girls in sport and other punchy stories including on the business of Mixed Martial Arts. By nature, I am curious and adventurous, I like to observe new cultures and to learn from people. Having travelled in many countries, I have a multicultural and open-minded perspective of the world: I understand four languages. For me, journalism is a field of exploration and encounters. I like to listen, to feel, to perceive, to shoot pictures and to transcribe the experience by sharing these impressions through reporting. I am currently working for France24 for the French and the English channels. My reports have been published by InsideOver, Voice Of America, and Worldcrunch. I also used to work for several magazines and newspaper in France including L’Équipe, Courrier International and Le Dauphiné Libéré. I also used to be a reporter for the Paris-based Institute Open Diplomacy. As a young woman, I want to prove to my generation why journalism matters. I am convinced that understanding our environment requires a thorough study of the world. I believe journalism is a means of involvement and engagement. The Paris-based film maker David Guersan has been surrounded by photos and reports since his birth. Inspired by a father who made journalism his life; a creative character who traveled to the ends of the earth in search of fascinating stories. David has now become an award-winning, passionate filmmaker, producing work that has been seen around the world and presented by famous medias such as Business Insider, France TV, BBC, Vice, Aljazeera, and many others. Julia Montfort is a French journalist who, after a passage in the written press, has been producing reports and documentaries for the last 12 years for various media. With a specific focus: the status of men and women in terms of human rights. She regularely makes documentaries for the documentary series "The Undertones of globalization, broadcast on the french network PUBLIC SENAT. With "Gold Dust", she digs deep into the mines industry in Burkina Faso where unregulated gold rush has had a devastating effect on mining conditions and environment. This report exposes the corruption beneath Compaore's ruling. She also focused on the Burmese democratic awakening through the means of telecommunications in "Myanmar: the awakening to the world". Andrea Savorani Neri (born in 1976), Italian photographer, filmmaker, and journalist living and working in Paris, France. I graduated in modern literature from the University of Bologna and I have since been investigating the relationship between language and image. After a period of research in Spain, France, and Russia, I settled in Paris, where I started teaching at the University of Paris III, Sorbonne Nouvelle. Under a master’s program financed by the European Union, I began working as a professional journalist, and since 2005 I have been working for international TV networks, news agencies and printed press as a journalist, photographer and filmmaker (RAI 3 -Italian Public Service Broadcast, euronews, BBC, Sky tg24, Apcom, NurPhoto, IMAGO, HFP, L'Espresso, Avvenire, Sette Sere). Raised in France, I always wanted to see the world. For that, I chose documentary filmmaking and videoreporting as an excuse to discover new geographies and chart the lives of others. Based in Cameroon the last 5 years, I covered the biggest news stories across the Central Africa, from refugee camps at the Central African Republic border to the northern cameroonian villages facing Boko Haram. More than 150 reports were broadcasted – from hard news to feature stories and documentaries – always with a common thread: meeting the « Other », respecting one’s word, questioning the truth. Although I was working mainly as a correspondent for France 24, I also reported for Canal+, TV5 Monde, Thomson Reuters and Cameroonian TV. Since a few months I am pursuing the adventure in South-East Asian country Laos, mainly reporting for AFP and Associated Press.

Daniel Quinlan is an award winning photographer and videographer who has recently relocated to Paris France, after 10 years based in Southeast Asia, shooting news, features, documentary and photos. He has been published in regional and international publications such as CNN, AFP, AP, Al Jazeera, ABC, NPR, The Age, Asia Correspondent, and Getty. He has also contributed to documentary features and produced videos for a number of local and international NGOs including Oxfam Cambodia, Transparency International, LRF and DCA. As well as freelancing Daniel currently works with Reel Light Productions. Since 2009, Daniel has lived and worked in Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar. Prior to becoming freelancer he worked for two years as a full-time video journalist for The Phnom Penh Post.

Her work has appeared in NBCNews.com, the New York Times, the Globe and Mail (Canada), News24 Live (South Africa) and Nation Media Group publications (East Africa). Linda earned her master's degree in journalism from the University of British Columbia. She was granted a research award from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research to investigate aging and dementia for a multimedia project. Linda was also a fellow of the UBC International Reporting Program and contributed to a yearlong investigation on global mental health and human rights abuse.
