Mortgage Worx Inc. is an affiliate of The Mortgage Centre - a nationally recognized mortgage brokerage established in Canada in 1989. Founders, Jimi and Isaac Cohen, travelled to Uganda and Kenya in the last quarter of 2020 to work side by side those who need clean water most. Over 200 million hours is spent looking for clean drinking water every day. We believe this to be a waste of human potential. Access to clean water shouldn't be an uncertain struggle. We Make Impact turns every $20 into an Empowerment Package which includes 1 Filter Fountain (eliminating 98.7% of bacteria) and access to the skills, tools, and resources to build filters for sale in the community & break out of the poverty cycle. Philanthropists fund an Empowerment Package with a 20 USD donation. Within 1 week, a local entrepreneur passes the Filter Fountain assembly, maintenance, and sales tests through hands-on training with our experienced entrepreneurs. Over the course of a month, the entrepreneurs go through legal, operational and sales training to become a self sufficient and profitable business. The We Make Impact family offers ongoing support as they grow their business including access to our partnerships, raw material discounts, Knowledge Library, and many more perks. In their Uganda pilot, selling 3-10 Empowerment Packages per day represents 3-26x the average Ugandan income. Their model creates a ripple effect of economic opportunity while providing many with access to reliable clean water. The medium-term goal is to not rely on philanthropists to fund new micro-franchises. We Make Impact is supported and endorsed by the iconic motivational speaker and coach, Les Brown ( #LesBrown ) as well as many other talented, passionate and dedicated professionals from around the world. They are doing incredible work to bring clean water to millions and relieve the crippling poverty that pervades so many countries and territories. HatChap Productions Inc. is touched and honoured to have been chosen for such a tremendous undertaking. We wrote, produced, edited and scored the whole piece. Coordinated with professional actors and filmmakers in Kenya and learned so much about the difficulties some people face regarding access to clean water. What an eye opener. If you can, give a little now and help our world heal at one of the most vital and basic levels. Follow the link below to donate now! https://www.wemakeimpact.org/ Black keys western overlay

I am a cinematographer and director from Sydney, now based in Vancouver. I have shot, directed and edited globally for leading brands including Google, Virgin, Wella and Volkswagen. I'm equally at home in documentary or commercial projects, and love working in small, fast-moving teams.
