About Aaron F.
Starting my television production career in Austin, TX in 1997, and after 20 years of television production experience, it's taught me one very valuable lesson: that THIS business is very unpredictable. That unpredictability is what keeps it exciting and drives me to each project. Shooting and editing promotional marketing packages, athletic highlight reels, behind the scenes, mini-docs and shooting on location, I excel at the "run & gun" ENG style shooting, adapting to many different situations and locations. Editing under tight deadlines and being a one-man band, from the first day of shooting to the final delivery is what I excel. Equipped with the latest technology for video, sound and editing, when you need it produced, shot and edited--hire ASF SHOOTS.

About Cynthia P.
Through an extensive career in international film ; and television, I have been fortunate to combine my love for storytelling with her passion for discovering the world. I have traveled to nearly 70 countries, producing in more than 40 as well as working extensively throughout the United States. I work independently, in the studio system, on feature films, documentaries, as well as network & cable programming; from development through to delivery. My experience in the field and post, conducting interviews, directing, as well as shooting, has culminated in hundreds of hours of non- fiction programming for ABC, AMC, CBS, NBC, A&E, Animal Planet, Audience Network, DIRECTV, Discovery, Discovery Asia, History, and the Paramount Network. I broke into the world of television at The Amazing Race, where I spent seven seasons. During that time, I worked across six continents and 18 countries. Along the way, I earned two Emmy awards. Some of my other credits include Religion of Sports, Ice Cold Gold, Ax Men, The Colony, BullRun, Kid Nation, America’s Toughest Jobs, and The Big Time. I am currently in post-production on the independent documentary, Ready to Run, that followed nine women across the country running for office for the first time in the 2018 US mid-term elections. I have lived and worked in the vast, remote wilds around the world, from Patagonia to the Arctic Circle. In addition, I’ve filmed in challenging environments across the United States, from the high ranges of Alaska; the top of El Capitan, the dense forests of Oregon, Washington, and Montana; the swamps of Louisiana; the flatlands of Texas; to the Bering Sea. Internationally, I have worked & traveled across Africa, Australia, Central & South America, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and throughout Europe. I spent many months in Sri Lanka assisting in relief efforts after the devastating Indian Ocean tsunami, which led to my directorial debut Anatomy of a Disaster, for Discovery Asia & the United Nations. This documentary looks at rebuilding progress in the hardest-hit regions of Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, India, and the Maldives. Before venturing into television, I concentrated my efforts in feature films, most notably at Pierce Brosnan’s production company, Irish DreamTime. I was actively involved in the successful studio remake of ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’ as well as the company’s independent features including ‘Evelyn’ and ‘The Nephew’ (both set & shot in Ireland). I have also worked at New Line Cinema and 20th Century Fox. I began my career as a freelance writer and photojournalist. I spent time in New York City at HEALTH magazine before moving back to my hometown of Chicago where I worked with the highly acclaimed Chicago International Theatre Festival, under the direction of Jane Nicholl Sahlins and her husband, Second City founder, Bernie Sahlins. I hold a Master of Fine Arts, specializing in Cinematography, from the American Film Institute, and degrees in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Kentucky. When not working, I am active in various community-based programs. I recently realized a long-standing dream by completing the 500-mile pilgrimage from St. Jean Pied de Port, France, across the Pyrenees Mountains, to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. I currently split my time between Portland, Oregon, and everywhere interesting projects lead.

About Martin V.
Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Martin Vavra is an award-winning film and commercial director. Early on, he had a love for a variety of different art forms. At the age of five, he began playing the drums. Later, he toured Europe as part of an orchestra. At the age of 10 he began painting water colors, with several of his paintings getting showings and winning awards. His college years became a mishmash of rock band performances, science classes and sci-fi consumption. For many years, Martin was a wildland fire fighter, eventually becoming an ecologist. In 2005, wanderlust caught hold and Martin left ecology to travel, leading him to discover his true passion, filmmaking. Since then, his life has been dedicated to cinematic storytelling. Martin’s series, The Last Stand, made its debut on DailyMotion and has received millions of views. Living up to the Rising Star title awarded to him by the Oregon Media Production Association, his films have been awarded numerous honors, including, Best Short Documentary and Best LGBQT at the Breckenridge FF, Festival Jury Prize at the Humanist Film Festival, Best Director, Best Series and Best Score. When he’s not directing, Martin can be found on a tall mountain backpacking or in a hidden stream fly fishing. When the outdoors isn't calling, Martin has been known to build and wear various Star Wars and HALO armor suites. Martin and his wife, Jenn, are owned by two rescue huskies that travel with them on all of their adventures.

About Rob M.
Robert Anthony's work is centered around the power of feeling. This Portland-based filmmaker harnesses the primitive purpose of film: the ability to create emotion and evoke catharsis through his audience. His work uses dramatic elements through dark, moody tones with an emphasis on the surreal. Dark his style may be, his demeanor and attitude on set is the contrary. He possesses an effortless ability to keep all stages of production light-hearted and supportive, familial, yet professional. Maintaining respect and enrichment within his crew and talent is crucial for creating honest expression through film. Robert’s career began with a small agency, requiring him to learn every aspect of filmmaking from start to finish. Being a one-man-band turned him into a multidisciplinary filmmaker, equipping him to take the reigns on larger projects with a full crew for clients such as Bertolli, Frito-Lay, and Toyota to name a few.
