Gastón Martínez is an independent filmmaker from Montevideo, Uruguay. At the beginning of his career he makes videos for Unicef New York and Unicef Uruguay and he never stopped shooting. He really enjoyed shooting social videos or documentaries. For this reason, he works as a freelancer filmmaker for Ikusi (http://ikusi.org/), a social production company that tell stories which dignify people instead of victimizing them, supported by the strength of our protagonists and, ultimately, raising social awareness and promoting a culture of solidarity.
