Documentaries are my passion. In 2008 I premiered my first feature-length documentary, Hit, about the personal stories behind some of the most famous songs in my home country, Uruguay. Currently, Im working on my second film with co-director Claudia Abend: Never Better tells the stories of a group of eighty-somethings who decide to start all over just as they reach a moment in life when everything seems to have been done: run a marathon at 85, learn to read and write at 80, or divorce a high-school sweetheart at 82. Aside from film, Ive worked as a journalist since college in print and television, and more recently as a freelance videographer at Agence France-Presse. Uruguay is a very under-reported country, full of compelling stories to tell: did you know that hip-hop a completely alien rhythm in the local culture is being used in some barrios to keep teenagers away from drugs? Or that a group of scientists is trying to determine the genetic factors that might explain why Uruguay is the country with the most ageing population in the region? Or that the president Jose Mujica is trying to create a government-run marijuana market?

Before moving to Buenos Aires to freelance, Alba was the Latin America Interactive Producer for the Associated Press (2012 to 2015) and an professor in digital storytelling at the University Centro for Design, Cinema and Television in Mexico City. Born in Girona, Spain, she has worked as a videographer and documentary director for TV and digital. She has directed, produced and filmed documentaries in India, Colombia, Nicaragua, Ecuador and Cameroon. She received the prestigious La Caixa scholarship to study an MA at Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California at Berkeley. After that, she worked as an Associate Producer at Mediastorm multimedia studio in Brooklyn, NYC. In 2009, she received a grant from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation to work for the Werner Herzog's documentaries production house and continued to produce programs for National Geographic and Discovery Channel. She is currently freelancing in Buenos Aires.

Paula Sacchetta graduated in journalism at Sao Paulo University (USP), has worked for Globo, TV Brasil, O Estado de São Paulo newspaper and O2 Filmes. Paula won the Amnesty and Human Rights Vladimir Herzog Award in the magazine category, for an article about the National Truth Commission published in a special edition of the Caros Amigos magazine in 2012. She has directed "Truth 12.528", a documentary on the Brazilian National Truth Commission and The more prisoners, greater profit. Diego Lajst has graduated in photography and has been producing and directing short commercials and documentaries for the web since 2009. As part of the Galeria Experiencia collective, he created videos for Folha de São Paulo, O Estado de São Paulo and other important media outlets. He's working since 2014 in a web series about the water crisis in São Paulo metropolitan region, called Volume Vivo, whose first two chapters have been shown in festivals in town.
