Visual storyteller focused in documentary photography and video. Rodrigo Marcondes is currently a candidate for the PhD in Culture Studies at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa holding the FCT Scholarship. He is BA in Journalism and MA in Documentary Photography from AKV St. Joost, in The Netherlands (2012), as well as MA in Scientific Dissemination from Unicamp, in Brazil (2018). Marcondes integrates Coletivo Garapa, a duo of film producers/visual artists that investigates the intersections between documentary and visual arts fields, using many media and techniques, including film; photography; and site-specific installations. Coletivo Garapa had its work shown in Brazil and abroad and it is present in collections such as the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art (MAM) and Moreira Salles Institute. Rodrigo Marcondes developed a solid career in the audiovisual industry. His experience shifts from designing and executing several productions of diverse kinds and sizes, ranging from run-and-gun films to medium production sets. He produced and filmed all over Brazil and as far as New Zealand, Mexico, Argentina and Peru, collaborating with a range of communication companies, with Channel 4 UK and Rede Globo among them. He has been creating and directing content for diverse clients; Vice TV, InBev, Folha de São Paulo to name a few. As a multidisciplinary producer, he seeks inspiration in varied forms of visual arts, believing that a wide frame of references can bring artistic production to a higher level.

António Morais| Bragança, Portugal, 1985. Director of photography, cinematographer, photographer and university professor. He is a guest member of the Associação de Imagem Portuguesa, a Independent Certified Expert (ICE) of Sony and Fujinon Ambassador. Master in Production and Directing at the Instituto Politécnico do Porto and Graduate in Sound and Image at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He also specialized in Professional Photography at the Instituto Português de Fotografia. Since the beginning of his academic career he has been part in several shooting teams in numerous short films, films, documentaries and TV shows as Director of photography. He has worked in all types of productions in the Middle East (Jordan, Yemen, Palestine, Israel). The last projects to highlight: the feature film "Oversized Coat" for the producer Nawras Media; the long-running TV documentary "Camera and the City - Yemen" for the production company Vision, client Al Jazeera Documentary; the comedy show "The Rania Show" for the producer Green Bananas, customer Roya TV; the television series "The Asphalt Color" for Pan East Media, Abu Dhabi TV client (ADTV) and the documentary "Born in 48" for producer, Vision, Al Jazeera Documentary customer. In 2016 and 2017 he directed the photography of the documentary series for TV, "Expats" for Al Jazeera Documentary, in England, Canada, Brazil, Norway and Australia that was filmed all over the world. He is part of Sony's ICE trainers platform and he is a teacher of vídeo, lighting and cinematography at IPF and Cineworkshops in Porto. He teaches curricular units related to lighting and cinematography at IPP for Bachelor and Master degree. He was a professor at the IPB in the 2009-2010 school year. From 2010 to 2012 he taught cinematography at the SAE Institute in Amman, Jordan. From 2009-2014 he collaborated with UCP, as professor of curricular units related to photography. He also taught Lighting for Photography of the Master's Degree in Photography at the same academic institution.

I own a (two-person) production company Bodhgaya Films (BGF), a family business founded in 2010. BGF was born from the desire of the partners, me and Frandu, to produce films and documentaries with engaging and thought provoking stories, alongside the wish to create digital communication content for the corporate market. From the Brazilian Amazonia and refugee camps in Jordan to my neighbourhood: I'm a storyhunter. Independent Journalist since 2005, director, writer, radio and video reporter. I work on non fiction film such as documentaries and Multimedia Storytelling and contribute to several media outlets and production houses in Portugal and Brazil. I hold a Master in Journalism from Universidade do Minho and a Specialization in Documentary (Directing, Writing and Producing) from Academia Internacional de Cinema de São Paulo, Brazil, and Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV de Cuba. My feature length documentary "Land's Baptism" about Brazilian emmigration has been awarded several prizes, such as Best Cinematography at Hollywood Women's Film Festival (2019). Capricorn, I was raised in Portugal; lived for 5 years in Brazil as foreign correspondent for Portuguese media (radio, print, online). In 2009 I traveled for 4 months in the Brazilian Amazonia in a professional project uncovering untold stories from Belem to Manaus. Lately I have been working in Mozambique and I've lived in Jordan (2013) to research and co-write the script for a documentary on Palestinian Refugees in Gaza Camp, in Jerash. I'm a PHD candidate on Communication For Development in Porto and I'm a Professor on Journalism at Universidade Lusófona do Porto. I am a documentary filmmaker and visual anthropologist based between Rio and Porto. I have more than 15 years' experience as a film/video editor, director/director assistant, image curator, and researcher.
