I am a passionate journalist with an extensive background in broadcasting and experience in project management gained in youth and cultural cooperation. In various journalistic roles (Correspondent and Executive Producer at Hayat TV Sarajevo, Correspondent and Program Editor at N1 Sarajevo, and Planning Producer at TRT World Istanbul), I covered significant political, economic, and social issues in the Balkans, most recently for an international broadcaster. Fifteen years in the TV business not only enabled me to master storytelling and communication skills but also equipped me with a keen understanding of video production and television in general. Furthermore, it enhanced my ability to multitask and work under the pressure of deadlines and ever-changing circumstances.

I'm a freelance producer and editor. I grew up in Slovakia where I studied Journalism, and later moved to New York City to study Film Production and Screenwriting at The New School. While in school, I wrote and produced a number of short films and won the Rena Down Award for my feature script Crushing. I have worked in many different ares of production. Until recently, I was an Associate Producer for Magnet Media Films where I had a opportunity to create videos for brands such as Adobe, Cisco, Google, Chase , Spike TV etc. In 2017, I produced and co-edited a virtual reality short film about human trafficking called In the Shadows which premiered in January at VR Fest 2018 in Las Vegas. I love the challenge of bringing an idea or concept to life, considering not only the creative possibilities of a script but also the logistical realities and crafting a harmony between the two in order to achieve an optimal outcome that all those involved can be proud of.
