Ground-breaking True Crime series, exposing inequality in the criminal justice system through the controversial case of Steven Avery. A series produced by Nutopia (London) and Jane Root, the former head of Discovery Networks. Babies is a documentary series using special cameras, magical realism, and observational footage to document the first year of life as never seen before. The 5 best sandwiches, from the best new restaurant of 2017: Turkey & the Wolf. Take a look at America's best new restaurant: Turkey & the Wolf, a sandwich shop in New Orleans! A century ago, New Yorkers got their fizzy water from the thousands of seltzer men that delivered to the five boroughs. Alex Gomberg is a fourth generation seltzer man and, as Brooklyn's youngest, he's trying to keep the business alive. This video was made the 2018 Bronx Visionary awards and features such people as Michele Roberts (head of the NBA players association.) As well as Eddie Palmieri (11 time Grammy award winning pianist.) It was screened at the 2018 Bronx Museum Gala. This is the trailer for a short 35min film — Four best friends, in an attempt to raise money for mental health, get in over their heads when they challenge a team of British endurance athletes to a Quad-Tandem four person bike race (the first of its kind!) Determined to win and raise money for their cause, they forgot one thing... they’re not cyclists. This was one of three videos created for the 2019 Bronx Visionary awards. Hosted by the Bronx Museum and screened at their 2019 Gala. It is a tribute to Stan Lee and his contribution to fighting child illiteracy. I was a camera operator on this performance by I'm With Her at The House of Blues in Boston. I directed and edited this music video for War on Drugs commissioned by Secretly Canadian

About Melissa P.
I've traveled the world on shoots; coordinated crews both in studio and on location; managed small documentary teams and large remote teams where the staff was spread out across the country and north of the border. Juggling many balls in the air at the same time is my specialty and doing so in a calm manner with a sense of humor is my trademark. To say I love what I do for a living is an understatement. I truly enjoy every stage of television production and have experience from researching an idea, to filming that idea, editing that idea and seeing it through to delivery. I've worn almost every hat in the business and love being given a show and seeing it from idea to realization to watching it on the air! I especially like doing the organizing - coordinating a series - managing multiple shows at one time and keeping everyone moving forward. The fun has never stopped and I feel very lucky to do what I do. Specialties: Producing - all aspects - Field, Coordinating, Post; Production Management; Post Production Supervising

About Jeremy L.
Jeremy S. Levine is an Emmy award-winning filmmaker dedicated to telling innovative, intimate, and politically-charged cinematic stories. As a freelance director, producer, editor, and cinematographer, he has created branded content for companies like 23andMe, Ben & Jerry's, and the Brooklyn Brewery. He has produced, shot, and edited segments for outlets like PBS NewsHour, Nat Geo, and Time Magazine. And he has worked as a freelance filmmaker for non-profits including the Dramatists Guild Fund, (RED), and the Covenant House. Levine's films explore race, trauma, and disillusionment and seek to unearth buried tragedies and work towards the often-elusive goal of reconciliation. An Emmy award-winning filmmaker and two-time Sundance Institute fellow, his work has screened at hundreds of film festivals around the world including the Berlinale, Tribeca, and IDFA, streamed on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sundance Now, Starz, and Hulu, broadcast nationally in nine countries, and been recognized with awards for craft, storytelling, and a commitment to social justice. He directed and co-produced For Ahkeem, a feature film about a Black teenage girl fighting to make a better life for herself and her son in North St. Louis. The film had its world premiere at the 2017 Berlin International Film Festival where it was nominated for the Glashütte Original Documentary Award. For Ahkeem has played as an official selection of over 60 film festivals—including Tribeca Film Festival, Hot Docs International Documentary Festival, Sheffield Doc/Fest, and AFI Docs. It won 12 awards, including 8 “Best Documentary Awards.” During its limited theatrical run, For Ahkeem was named in the Top 10 Lists by both Entertainment Weekly and People and was included on the “Unforgettables” List by the Cinema Eye Honors, a list that IndieWire writes “helped to define documentary cinema in 2017.” He produced and edited Good Fortune, a feature documentary about how efforts to aid Africa may be undermining the very communities they aim to serve. The film was awarded the Witness Award for Human Rights at its 2009 AFI Silverdocs Film Festival premiere and the 2010 Overseas Press Club Carl Spielvogel Award for international reporting. Good Fortune was broadcast on the award-winning PBS series, POV, where it won a 2010 Emmy. He directed, produced, and edited Walking the Line, a feature documentary about vigilantes along the U.S.-Mexico border and worked as an additional editor on Everything’s Cool, a feature on global warming that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. He has also produced for National Geographic and PBS NewsHour. In 2014, Levine directed/produced “Am I Next,” a short film about a teenager navigating the protests on the streets of Ferguson for Time. The short was also featured on Upworthy and Dazed Magazine and selected as a Vimeo Staff pick, with over 500K combined views. Levine received a degree in Documentary Production from the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, where his work was nominated for a Student Academy Award. He co-founded the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective, a community of professional filmmakers dedicated to collaboration and mutual support.
