Sarah Batista is an award – winning journalist, speaker, entrepreneur and filmmaker. Before launching Stories to Inspire, Sarah spent a decade as a reporter and anchor in local television news. In 2013, she left WBTV news in Charlotte after seven years to pursue her dream of documentary filmmaking. As an investigative reporter, Sarah covered a wide range of issues and draws upon that experience in her storytelling. Her four part "Beyond the Border" series filmed in Mexico won her the Large Market Feature Award from the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She also contributes reports to the weekly news magazine show ‘Carolina Impact’ on WTVI PBS Charlotte. I love the news, television, and serving our communities by digging for the truth and giving people accurate information about events and issues. It’s so, they can make informed decisions. I’m a big fan of the Scripps-Howard motto: “Give light and the people will find their own way.” I’m an Emmy Award winning news anchor/reporter, most recently for WGCL-TV in Atlanta. I love taking viewers through breaking news and field anchoring. As a proven ratings-getter, I’ve been blessed to have worked with fantastic producers and love working together to craft an informative, energetic, rockin’ newscast. On the road, I‘ve covered hurricanes and presidential campaigns; and especially enjoy producing in-depth reports. My career in journalism started at The University of Maryland at College Park. To pay my way through college, I worked as a news aide for The Washington Post, and as a production assistant for WTTG-TV in Washington, D.C. I’ve worked for television stations in Dayton, Cleveland, Raleigh, Houston, Orlando and Washington, D.C. Community involvement is very important to me. I serve on the volunteer board of CAPN Clinics, a charity of medical professionals who provide free care to people who are homeless and families in crisis in Atlanta. I’ve been an after-school tutor for disadvantaged students in D.C., a career day speaker for numerous middle schools and high schools; and an instructor for college students for the NABJ Broadcast Short Course at North Carolina A&T State University. Right now, I also mentor several college journalism students. I’m proud of my work in Houston and in Cleveland, hosting a series of reports on adoption; helping to move kids from foster care, to permanent loving homes. I’ve been featured in newscaster roles for the TBS comedy series “Miracle Workers”, the HBO series “The Outsider”, The Oprah Winfrey Network’s “Greenleaf”; also movies “Brightburn”, “Shaft”, and “Noelle.” Journalism isn’t my only professional passion, I’ve also earned real estate licenses from the states of Maryland, Georgia, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

For the past 10 years, Coach Randall Clark has dedicated himself to developing basketball players around the country to be the best players, teammates and leaders, both on and off the court. I look at each video project as a blank canvas to produce my form of creative video production on. I enjoy planning productions, using creative filming techniques and providing expert post-production services as a strong and experienced video editor. I'm a compassionate video professional that began my career in television news at WSOC-TV Channel 9 - Charlotte while serving as the Chief Video Editor of daybreak, evening, and then later, the prime time 5:00PM newscast. I was eventually promoted to the promotional editor position editing promos and teases for both WSOC and WAXN Charlotte in the late 90s / early 2000s. My career furthered as a full-time show editor for NASCAR Productions and a freelance cinematographer at smaller circuit races for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Series. I'm also a voice-over talent. My voice has been used on many radio ads, tv commercials, corporate videos and advertisement bumpers. I was the former show voice for various nationally televised sports shows that aired on Fox Sports Net and Speed Channel. I then founded my own video production firm in 2005 and haven't looked back.

Hello, my name is Paul Garber and I am an award-winning journalist with 20 years of experience and a lover of films going back even longer than that. I was able join my two passions starting in 2008, when I was named the Winston-Salem Journal's first full-time multimedia reporter. Since then I have created short films for the Web based on a variety of topics, including breaking news videos as well as short explanatory films. I usually worked on next-day deadlines and was both the videographer and editor for stories that often accompanied print coverage, so I know what it is like to do quality work on deadline. I filmed appearances by Barack Obama three times, and have been on the riser for many other political appearances including such figures as Joe Biden, John McCain and Sarah Palin. Josh Davidsburg is an award-winning broadcast journalist, documentary filmmaker and 2001 Merrill College alumnus. Following his education, Josh started his career at WMDT in Salisbury; three years later, he moved to Fort Myers, Florida, where he worked for NBC-2 WBBH for two years. He then returned home to work for WBAL in Baltimore and Maryland Public Television, where he reported for two years. His first feature-length documentary Queen of the Capital screened at film festivals across the country and has been picked up for distribution. Josh also teaches documentary and broadcast journalism as a full-time lecturer at the University of Maryland, College Park, Philip Merrill College of Journalism. He is currently in pre-production for his next feature film.
