Sara Lafleur-Vetter is a multimedia journalist with a passion for telling stories of the underdog and the underbelly of society. As a videographer, photographer, writer, and radio journalist, she’s covered everything from social orphans in Russia to Native resistance camps at Standing Rock. She holds an interdisciplinary degree in Anthropology and Russian from Reed College. Lafleur began her journalism career in St. Petersburg, Russia, where she documented local NGOs including an organization for the homeless, a kid circus, and an institution for the disabled. Afterwards, she lived in Luxor, Egypt documenting ancient temple blocks for the American Research Center in Egypt. She received her Masters from the Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism in 2015, where she won a Dorothea Lange Fellowship for her photography. She spent over half a year covering the Native-led resistance camps at Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota, which she is working to develop into a feature length film.

She joined the Digital team for Barack Obama’s successful, Webby award winning re-election campaign in 2012. She created some of the highest viewed short form documentaries for the campaign. Most recently, She was part of the Emmy award winning production team of Years of Living Dangerously, a documentary series on climate change for Showtime, docu-series editor on Death Row Stories (Jigsaw/CNN), Weediquette (Vice), and Aspireist (MSNBC) and creating short form documentary on gun violence for Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan.

Constantine Papanicolaou grew up in Ridgewood, NJ. Upon graduating from high school in the spring of 1994, he moved to Berkeley, CA to attend the University of California. It was during his time at Berkeley that he became interested in film and video production Constantine graduated Berkeley in the spring of 1998 with a degree in Applied Math. The following winter, he produced and directed his first ski film, titled “Chapter Three”, which received strong reviews from the ski and snowboard community. After completion of “Chapter Three”, Constantine spent four years working as a software engineer, including two years with Amazon.com designing and building Suppy-Chain Optimization Software. He then returned to school in the summer of 2003 for a Master of Business Administration at the University of Southern California, and to pursue his long-time interest in filmmaking. Since completing graduate school at USC, Constantine has gone on to produce and direct ski and outdoor sports films for companies such as Oakley, Red Bull and ESPN. Constantine is based in Truckee, California.
