I've been lucky enough to work in various ways in performing arts (music-dance) and visual arts (illustration, design, video) along my life. I hold a masters degree in creative media at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, exploring narratives with 360 video, virtual reality and spatial audio, as powerful immersive tools to tell stories. As a photographer and video-maker I have covered, over the past 20 years, subjects ranging from development to identity issues and current affairs, through assignments for the international media, NGOs and various commercial organisations. I am part of the network of international photographers collaborating with London-based Panos Pictures. My clients include The Guardian, The Sunday Times Magazine, The Telegraph Magazine, The Financial Times Magazine, Monocle Magazine, the BBC, Le Monde, L’Express Magazine, Liberation, Dagens Nyheter, Politiken, Newsweek, Save The Children, ActionAid, Christian Aid, Fairtrade Foundation, Max Havelaar, Oxfam, Comic Relief and UNESCO, to name just a few. I was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where I got a degree in engineering (robotics), but switched to photography in 1997. I have travelled and photographed intensively around the globe, telling stories through my photos and videos. In 2000 I moved to London, where I lived and worked for 8 years and studied photojournalism and documentary photography at the London College of Communication (former LCP). Since 2009 I have been based in Rio de Janeiro and I am available for assignments such as reportage, NGO, portraiture and commercial photography and video (including 360 videos), in Brazil or elsewhere in Latin America. Between 2010 and 2014, I photographed all the 12 arenas of the World Cup Brazil 2014 under construction, including the production of exclusive spherical panoramas of all of them.

I am Brazilian and hold both Brazilian and Italian nationalities. I have been based in Rio de Janeiro since 2009. Between 2003 and 2008 I lived, studied and worked as a freelance photographer in London (UK). In 2015 I launched a production company called Zuppa Filmes (/http://zuppafilmes.com.br/english/). Zuppa Filmes produces several audiovisual products for the film and music industries. We do still photography and making of photography for cinematographic productions, DOP for documentaries, institutional videos for a wide range of clients, from private companies, NGOs, among others, as well as photography in general, such as portraits, album covers and recordings of shows and exhibitions. I've been involved in video production for many years, especially since the arrival of video-enabled DSLR cameras. Zuppa Filmes was designed to offer a more structured service, consisting of multi-camera coverage, with careful audio recording and integrated editing.

Francisco Proner, born in 2000, Brazil. Photographer, VU' angency member based in Rio de Janeiro. In the year 2015 embarked on an expedition around the world by car, traveling throughout 3 continents. At the time, he started to work with the NINJA Media and "Jornalistas Livres" networks during the coverage of protests and the political crisis in Brazil. In 2017, he completed the course of Dramaturgy and Documentary Writing at the International School of Cinema and Television (EICTV) in Cuba Francisco was a student in the first edition of Canon and Magnum Photos student program during the Visa Pour L'Image photojournalism festival. In the same year began to develop his personal project, Anomia, a long-term work still in progress. Since then started to work as a Freelance photojournalist with national and International medias among which the New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, Le Monde, El Pais.

Graduated in design, Rico has dedicated the last 10 years to direct and produce TV series, documentaries and reality shows, in the most diverse and sometimes remote corners of the planet. By the agency of his production company Faissol Filmes, almost 150 30-minute episodes have been produced in more than 30 countries, dealing with sports, the environment and social issues. Rico manages to achieve results of excellent technical quality and is always at the service a good story. Recognized with a gold medal at the Venice 2020 festival in the Branded Entertainment category, Rico is based in Rio de Janeiro but ready to go anywhere on the planet, or even produce in Brazil for foreign agencies and vehicles, from a shotlist to a complete content.
