I'm a filmmaker who has worked on numerous corporate, reality TV, youtube channels, documentary and even a few indie feature films, I am a music composer and on occasion, performer. I'm most interested in the subjects of travel, adventure, music and the arts, as well as cultural anthropology, philosophy and indigenous mythology. I've worked throughout the U.S., in in the jungles of Costa Rica, the wilds of Alaska, the chaotic cities and rural villages of India and along the beautiful East coast of Australia. I've been able to work in nearly every capacity on projects ranging from corporate, industrial, documentary, feature narrative and webisode. My work has been showcased at SXSW, FRIARS COMEDY FILM FESTIVAL, ALAMO DRAFT HOUSE and more places that I'm sure I have not been told about. Some projects thankfully are still "making the rounds". While much of my work consists as Director of Photography and Editor my forte' is conceptual thinking and directing people in such a way as to get the best performance from them, crew or cast.

Julie Almendral is an experienced and versatile film and television producer, having produced multiple documentaries, episodic series, web series, branded content, news segments and docu-dramas over the past 14 years. She has filmed in 11 countries across 6 continents, including diverse communities across the U.S., and has produced content for HBO, PBS, MSNBC, History, A&E, National Geographic, and online platforms. She has a thorough understanding of all aspects of production, and can create and refine systems of organization and processes, lead production crews in the office and in the field, and manage the entire lifetime of a project. Julie’s area of expertise is media for social good. She holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and is currently studying psychology. Her knowledge base enables her to take a strategic approach to storytelling, and to tackle challenging and sensitive subject matter with curiosity and compassion.

Hello! I’m Amber Genuske, a video and photo producer and journalist based in Austin, Texas. I co-own Red Riding Hood Productions, a women-run production company creating content for people, brands, and media outlets. Short-form nonfiction video is my jam, though I am a one-stop-shop for video and photo production and love getting my hands dirty in every step of the storytelling process. I have 8 years of experience producing for organizations like The Huffington Post, Texas Monthly Magazine, and Crave. I enjoy my work, am reliable and flexible, love me some tight deadlines, and have that Texas-bred kindness to boot.

Hello! I am a director/producer/shooter who's worked both in indie film and for digital media companies. I've worked on emmy nominated films and created videos for millions of viewers to see. I'm currently a producer for Gizmodo Media (formerly Gawker Media). I like telling human stories (particularly that involve technology) and am skilled at covering complex subjects in an approachable way.
