She was awarded a New York City Council Citation of Honor for her work on the LGBTQ New Americans: Oral History Project with Brooklyn Community Pride Center and Immigration Equality in 2016. In 2018, she co-produced We Interrupt This Program, a 9-part video series by Deep Dish TV and Paper Tiger TV about the rise of far-right politics and resistance movements both nationally and internationally. The series brought together some of the most cutting edge independent media makers across the world to provide a special report from the frontlines against white nationalism, neoliberalism, patriarchy, and colonialism.
