Filmmaker, photographer, traveller and anthropologist. With the help of a camera, he documents people's lives and their stories, which are defined by various cultural patterns and customs. As a multimedia engineer, he acquired his knowledge at the Multimedia Academy and Institute in Ljubljana. He continued with his studies at the Middlesex University in London, where he graduated in 2009. An enormous interest for the factors that shape different civilizations and lives of individuals, and the complex aspects of human interactions, led him to apply for the international studies of cultural diversity and transnational processes at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana and at the Universidad Autónoma in Barcelona, where he graduated with honours in 2015, and obtained the tittle European Joint Master of Social and Cultural Visual Anthropology. In his visually rich documentary opus, Miha Mohorič reveals the themes with anthropological and ethnographic characteristics. In his movies, he focuses particularly on overlooked social and cultural themes. He is and exceptional observer, who records the unspoken and the unheard with the sensible eye of a camera, and with it integrates the artistic aesthetic into the documentary film. Currently he is active in the production of the movie about the victims of war in Turkey, Iraq and Syria and is the co-funder of Kranjska Gora International Film Festival.

I'm a freelance producer and editor. I grew up in Slovakia where I studied Journalism, and later moved to New York City to study Film Production and Screenwriting at The New School. While in school, I wrote and produced a number of short films and won the Rena Down Award for my feature script Crushing. I have worked in many different ares of production. Until recently, I was an Associate Producer for Magnet Media Films where I had a opportunity to create videos for brands such as Adobe, Cisco, Google, Chase , Spike TV etc. In 2017, I produced and co-edited a virtual reality short film about human trafficking called In the Shadows which premiered in January at VR Fest 2018 in Las Vegas. I love the challenge of bringing an idea or concept to life, considering not only the creative possibilities of a script but also the logistical realities and crafting a harmony between the two in order to achieve an optimal outcome that all those involved can be proud of.
