Commissioned by Brand SA, Spring Gully was used to encourage the public to purchase South Australian Products Blackchrome is a sportswear company based in Adelaide, South Australia. They wanted a unique video to help them stand out from the crowd. This is a 30 second TVC for Government of South Australia's Health system. This was for TV, Cinema, Social Media and Radio Earlier this year we collaborated with On Creative in Adelaide to create a video that told the story of the valuable relationship South Australia has with France now that our two countries are going to be collaborating on the Submarine build. We opted for a different take on the corporate video genre and got to have a lot of fun as we told the story through the eyes our young star. Produced for South Australian company, Quality Foods Australia, this showcase video was designed to demonstrate the authenticity of this premium product. Filmed across South Australia and Queensland, we shot over 5 days amidst some of the most severe weather South Australia has ever endured, but in the end we got it all in the can and the piece cut together beautifully.

About Stephen D.
I make moving pictures, move people. I’ve been a filmmaker since I made my first ‘real’ film in 2002 when a few friends and I disappeared into the woods and came back with a film about being a teenager, letting go, and monsters. Since then I have been privileged to work all over the world and create films with some of Australia and South Africa’s top actors and creatives, while celebrating the opportunity to produce works that are built on a foundation of generosity and seek to move people to think, feel and care a little bit more. Following my graduation from the directing course at AFTRS in Sydney, I moved to South Australia where I have established and scaled a creative video agency that strives to tell brand stories in new and imaginative ways. Through various projects I have worked closely with CEO's and Executives from some of Australias largest organisations, working to create video, branding and marketing strategies that deliver focused brand messages that deliver results. In and around running a business I continue to write, direct and produce narrative films of all shapes and sizes. Super Sounds, my last short film (about childhood and the power of friendship) screened at 40+ festivals, picked up more than one award, and most importantly made people smile. I’m also the co-founder of the Adelaide International Youth Film Festival where I wear a few different hats and am privileged to mentor young filmmakers through the craft and business of filmmaking.
