Xavier Medina was born June 26, 1986 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, and grew up with his big family in Barrio Santa Rosa, Guaynabo. He majored in audio visual communications at the University of Puerto Rico and later completed his Master of Arts in directing for film at the Savannah College of Art and design.
