After traveling the world on a bicycle for almost two years, Heiko Aufdermauer has studied FILM DIRECTION at HFF Konrad Wolf in Babelsberg. This created a virtuosity in dealing with a wide variety of genres and narrative possibilities within the short form. Beside his work as a freelance director, writer, videographer, D.O.P. and producer, in 2010 he founded SILENTFILM ARTIST COLLECTIVE as a platform for image films, documentary and music videos.
