This is the story of how the people of Banjarmasin in Kalimantan, have accepted and integrated transvestites into their community. This film focuses on 5 strong women, each one of them with their own stories and struggles against the stereotypes of women wearing hijab in Indonesia. These powerful women come from different backgrounds and professions: Diajeng Lestari (business woman), Dian Pelangi (fashion designer), Diana Kara (fashion designer), Asri Yuniar (hardcore vocalist), and Lia Karina Mansur (professional athlete). This was a short film written and directed by Mahatma Putra for the Go-Jek Go-Video Competition 2016 in Indonesia. Out of more than 600 entries throughout Indonesia, this film won the overall prize for Best Film. Interviewing, directing, DP, and producing video of one of the heroes for The Weather Channel Shoot video and interviewing public for TRT World about cemeteries as public space and inequality in Jakarta, Indonesia I am a fixer for Planet Expert, an environmental and conservation media platform based in Santa Monica, CA. Planet Expert is working with long time documentary movie in Sumatra which still in progress. The article above is one of some project that I worked for Planet Expert. Narrative feature on the trafficking to China of ethnic minority girls from northern Vietnam. Operated second camera in Chongqing on documentary about Moshe Safdie's Raffles City: Chongqing is vertical, height has known as “the magical city”. Chaotian Men, where this city starts, now is the biggest skyscraper and being repelled by the local. Our film Team focused on Moshe Safdie, who is an architect of this mega project, the film tried to explain Chongqing from the architectural point of view. Moshe Safdie has specific feeling of Chongqing, this feeling makes specfic expectation, and he put them into this building. He mixed the fresh air, the sunlight and the spaces together, show to the public. The responsibility of architect in Safdie’s mind, is not only making a building, but also making people’s life.
