I started out as still photographer freelancing in the Washington D.C. Area. I was published in just about every magazine in town as well as National and International news outlets. I was able to travel thanks my camera. I love melting into the crowd or background and capturing the moment, mood or feeling. After years of freelance I worked as a press photographer for the U.S. Department of State. A few years in, State hired me to produce, shoot, direct, and edit short form documentaries traveling domestically and internationally. For me, documentaries are personal insights to spectacular people and their lives. Sometimes I want to expose a wrong and sometimes I just want to revel in someone's goodness, quirkiness, talent, silliness. What makes humankind act the way we do? What motivates us to make choices, start organizations, ruin lives for our own gain? How does one find their demise? Human life is so pedestrian at times and then so unpredictable. Our duality is fascinating.

I served the U.S. Department of Defense for 5 years engineering, manufacturing and piloting unmanned aircraft. In 2012 I saw the "rise of the drones" and co-founded Drone Tech Aerial. I hold a Private Pilots License, Remote Pilot Part 107 License, SCUBA License, Motorcycle License, Fishing License and well, the license list goes on... Establishing shots, jib shots, crane shots, inside buildings, having pigeons fly our aircraft...We have done from mild to wild that's for sure. Drones are an awesome tool that instantly add production value but customers demanded we have a ground game. We answered with gimbals, motorized sliders, mirrorless cameras, sound, lighting and all the basics for a lightweight production. We have done work for some big names and a few features including Netflix, ABC, NBC, American Music Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Travel Channel, lululemon, Sony Pictures and other smaller but equally as important customers.

I've created and developed video content experiences for major brands, like Coca-cola, NBC, Fox, Hasbro, Levis, the NBA, WebMD, Microsoft, and VEVO. As an Executive Producer, I've created digital content and strategy for hit TV shows, “American Idol”, “The X Factor”, and “So You Think You Can Dance.” For FOX, I co-managed the very first, multi-platform effort to bring “American Idol” to audiences on TV, Hulu, Youtube, and mobile devices, during Season 12 and 13.
