Martin Friedrich, born 1975 in Munich, is a filmmaker and photographer. He studied Photography at the Academy For Photographic Design. After graduating with a short film, he moved to Berlin, working on movie sets and assisting photographers and filmmakers. Soon he started to shoot editorials, campaigns and commercials for fashion and lifestyle clients. His expertise in working with locations and storytelling in film and photography took him to places like Los Angeles, Casablanca, Kathmandu, Moscow, Mumbai and Mongolia. After relocating to his hometown Munich he is now shooting commercial and documentary films mostly as a director/cinematographer, as well as working as a stills photographer.
