I am an Italian native and was trained in filmmaking (regia) in Milan. I directed my first short in 2006. In the following six years, I continued with short films and shot a comedy in 16mm, which was presented at Milano Film Festival. Two of my VideoPoems were screened at the Pordenone Festival of Literature, and one of my documentaries was premiered in Bologna, and then broadcasted on an Italian channel called Espansione TV. I moved to the United States in 2013, where I founded my own production company and built a strong portfolio of clients, primarily based in Seattle, Chicago and Denver. I completed a documentary that was screened at the Poetry Foundation in Chicago and directed a short film about women's rights. My portfolio also includes a long list of corporate and promotional videos in a variety of industries. In 2020 I returned to Italy to continue my career as a filmmaker. My understanding of the North American market and fluency in English have been critical in my success in Italy with clients such as the BBC.

Andrea Verdelli (b. 1985) is a freelance photo and video journalist from Italy, based in Beijing and available for assignments in the region. He mainly shoots editorials, news, documentaries, portraits and commercials. His personal work often focuses on social issues, political issues and youth in the Far East and in Greater China especially. He has a collaboration with Getty Images as a stringer and he is registered as a journalist in the People's Republic of China with a regular press card. After traveling the world on a bicycle for almost two years, Heiko Aufdermauer has studied FILM DIRECTION at HFF Konrad Wolf in Babelsberg. In 2008, he was rewarded with a DAAD post-graduate scholarship for Kolkata / India. Apart from a documentary in Eastern Germany (JAPAN IS UNDERNEATH), many times he worked abroad: in India, he shot the shortfilm DIVINE DURGA and in Iran, he did ZAAR – both for arte. His artistic roots are alike in narrative film (e.g. the award winning feature film ZEIT DER FISCHE ) as well as in internationally successful experimental work (Förderpreis dt. Film in Hof, Oberhausen, Sao Paulo, Shanghai, Houston). In addition to his work on two new feature films, in recent years, he directed and shot as D.O.P. hundreds of commercials, scenes, music clips and short films as commissioned work. This created a virtuosity in dealing with a wide variety of genres and narrative possibilities within the short form. Beside his work as a freelance director, writer, videographer, D.O.P. and producer, in 2010 he founded SILENTFILM ARTIST COLLECTIVE as a platform for image films, documentary and music videos.
