About Eduardo S.

Eduardo is a Brazilian documentary director and cinematographer. During his years as a photojournalist, he was a first row witness to the first democratic elections of East Timor and experienced its underground cock fights from inside the cage, he spent days inside the Amazon forest hearing many of its tales, photographed on a football field in South Korea, and the seething street protests in Brazil. All these experiences made him dive into documentary filmmaking as it presented a unique opportunity to tell stories, creating a connection with the other. Eduardo graduated as a Journalist at Mackenzie University in 2009, in São Paulo. He also has a diploma on photo-imaging at NMIT, Melbourne, Australia. Since then, he worked as a photojournalist for different newspapers, agencies and magazines for the last 10 years. In 2015 he received the photograph of the year Award by Arfoc-sp/Canon. Nowadays, he is part of Docnomads Eramus Joint Master's Degree, an itinerant program, producing documentary films in Portugal, Hungary and Belgium.

I'm a director of photography, graduated in FAMU University of Prague, MFA in Cinematography. Before turning to DP, I've been working as gaffer and cameraman in various countries, such as: Czech Republic, Colombia, Ireland, Scotland, Indonesia, France and Italy. I enjoy working on TV series, commercials, music-videos, documentaries etc, but my favorite format still remains feature films. I'm confident with both digital and analog technology, having shot in 35mm, 16mm and 8mm. I'm fluent in English and Spanish, Italian being my native language. I also speak a tiny bit of Czech and German, working on improving the latter at the moment.

About Thomas S.

Thomas is a Central Europe based video producer originally from the U.S. with over six years of comprehensive production experience. He has built valuable skills through involvement in an eclectic range of projects internationally, including feature films, documentary and press pieces, television commercials, promotional photo shoots, fashion, corporate video, and event and conference coverage and streaming. He is currently a video producer and editor for international NGO, FOUR PAWS in Vienna. Through this continuing work, social media content production as well as fundraising campaigns have now additionally become part of his repertoire.
