Mai Nguyen Anh is a Vietnamese visual artist whose works are often a mixture of observational and poetic documentary, enriched by personal significance and contemporary issues. Majoring in Economics at the University of Surrey, United Kingdom, his interest in documentary photography led him to work in photojournalism, and he joined VnExpress Newspaper as a contract photographer in 2013. In 2015, Nguyen Anh left VnExpress and has been freelancing for various news outlets as well as focusing on his personal projects. His work has been published on Financial Times, Bloomberg, The Guardian, The Daily Mail, and many others. In 2016, he received a scholarship and completed the One Year Certificate at the International Center of Photography in New York. He is the co-founder of Matca, an online photography community in Vietnam. Mai is the recipient of the Open Category award for the inaugural Objectifs Documentary Award in 2018. I am a freelance journalist based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I specialises in reporting, producing, filming and editing for news and TV programs. I also work on travel articles, photography and scriptwriter for TV show as well. I produced a video documentary "Living on the song" is about the challenges of buskers in London and Birmingham when they perform outsides. I spent 3 months to meet buskers and film them in London and Birmingham, and edit this video. This project brought me to have a great chance to chat with amazing buskers in London Underground, and understood how difficult to get busking license or pitch to perform at the Tube. I really appreciate their work. The street musicians are making our cities in the world more interesting in someway. Hence, I wanna produce a documentary about the life of buskers around the world and some arts, lifestyle stories as well.

Thanh Hue is a Vietnamese photographer currently based in Ho Chi Minh City. Her focus is on documentary photography and human-centered issues, specifically private living spaces. Hue began her career documenting groups that spontaneously migrate and lived in residential areas in Hanoi in 2019. After graduating at the Academy of Journalism and Communication in the same year, she worked as a photo correspondent for VnExpress - the most read Vietnamese newspaper and covered news and lifestyle stories. In late 2020, she joined Reuters as a locally based stringer, covering news around Vietnam. Her works have been seen in Reuters, The Washington Post, US News,... among others.
