After traveling the world on a bicycle for almost two years, Heiko Aufdermauer has studied FILM DIRECTION at HFF Konrad Wolf in Babelsberg. In 2008, he was rewarded with a DAAD post-graduate scholarship for Kolkata / India. Apart from a documentary in Eastern Germany (JAPAN IS UNDERNEATH), many times he worked abroad: in India, he shot the shortfilm DIVINE DURGA and in Iran, he did ZAAR – both for arte. His artistic roots are alike in narrative film (e.g. the award winning feature film ZEIT DER FISCHE ) as well as in internationally successful experimental work (Förderpreis dt. Film in Hof, Oberhausen, Sao Paulo, Shanghai, Houston). In addition to his work on two new feature films, in recent years, he directed and shot as D.O.P. hundreds of commercials, scenes, music clips and short films as commissioned work. This created a virtuosity in dealing with a wide variety of genres and narrative possibilities within the short form. Beside his work as a freelance director, writer, videographer, D.O.P. and producer, in 2010 he founded SILENTFILM ARTIST COLLECTIVE as a platform for image films, documentary and music videos.

Hi, my name is Felix Fukuyoshi Ruwwe and I'm a film maker. Me and my brother started making short films in 2001 mainly creating little action shorts inspired by the martial arts action cinema of Hong Kong. After years of honing my skills in front and behind the camera I found work in professional productions leading to being action camera operator for 2 feature films. While my specialty probably lies in the action genre, I have shot a wide range of different styles, ranging from documentaries, image videos to interviews, weddings and more. One of my strongest point lies in my ability to have an understanding of every aspect of the film making process. Starting from an idea to writing a script (be it narrative or for a documentary), to planning, filming, directing, lighting, editing, sound design, grading...you name it. You can trust that my work is solid as some of my work has been awarded at various international film festivals (the works can be found in my portfolio). I have worked with a wide range of camera systems including the Black Magic Cinema Camera, RED cinema cameras, Panasonic GH4, and various DSLR cameras. I'm currently using the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K along with various equipment such as the Tilta Gravity G2X Gimbal. I'm further capable of speaking 4 languages (German, English, Chinese and Japanese) which enables me to work for international clients.
