In 2017 I was a member of the Pulitzer Prize winning team for the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) “Panama Papers” project, and in 2020 I led the Israeli research of "Pandora Papers." My work, often data-driven and OSINT-based, appeared in Haaretz, Associated Press, Harper’s, ProPublica, Washington Post, Mother Jones, The Nation, Buzzfeed, Mashable , UK’s Channel 4 and other media outlets. I have also been featured in Netflix's blockbuster "The Tinder Swindler." My name is Hedayatullah Noori, a reporter, cameraman, video editor, and technician. I was forced to leave Afghanistan with my wife and four teenager children because I had worked as a technician, cameraman and reporter for 13 years for Voice of America in Kabul. I have resettled in Silver Spring, Maryland. I am authorized to work in the United States. I am very interested in finding a job that will allow me to use my skills here in the U.S. and to support my family. As you can see from my resume, I studied electrical engineering and computer science in Afghanistan, but due to my interest in the press, I started working in the media in 2003 for an Afghan newspaper, Hewad, and then for Afghan National Radio and Television as a reporter and cameraman. In 2008, I began working for Voice of America and did so in several capacities. In addition to working as a reporter and camera operator, I also have experience in video editing.
