I first discovered my passion for photography at a young age traveling with my father, a life long commercial photographer, to unique locations around the world and then helping develop the film back in his studio. I've transitioned to video production to tell more compelling stories, having started Après Visuals over 10 years ago. Since then, my company has produced a wide range of projects, including documentaries, feature films, and ambitious commercial projects. I believe you need to truly relate to your subject matter in order to capture it in the most authentic way. A production requires extensive planning, attention to detail, and the ability to work fluidly with both talent and client in a rapidly changing environment. When shooting a campaign I draw upon my own passion and experience in that environment to create genuine images that will evoke emotion in the most native audience. I absolutely love what I do - solving problems with stories. I graduated from the University of Utah in 2016 with a heavy focus on story-telling and screenwriting. From there, I picked up video-production skills by jumping into the world of political video and multi-media journalism, covering events ranging from presidential visits to the Sundance film festival.
