Gabriel recently returned from directing and DPing a short documentary on the border of Gaza. His anticipated short film Latent will be released this year, and Gabriel is in mid-stage preproduction for his first feature length project, "Benji's Hour," having just made public the concept trailer for it: vimeo.com/404372408. Aside from coming on as DP, services Gabriel can provide on a client to client basis include graphic design, still photography, 1st AC, film/commercial editing, writing, and directing. Award winning writer and director Gabriel Kahane's work has screened all around the country, winning him a Grand Jury Prize at the Oscar qualifying Flickers Rhode Island International Film festival and screening at Hollywood's TCL Chinese Theater. Gabriel's DP work has given him vast knowledge of current industry grade digital cinema equipment, having worked with a variety of cine-cameras, lenses, and grip equipment. Gabriel is proficient with the Arri, Canon, Sony, and Blackmagic cinema camera series; though he is able to work with any camera. His main priority is to work very closely with the director to bring their vision to fruition, while offering ideas and expertise in the process. Kahane' s work tends to live in the realm of independent narrative film, but he has worked both above and below the line on commercial projects and feels at home in the world of corporate video and advertising. Gabriel's primary concern is creating professional and quality content on par with the project's vision.

He was born in 1987 in district of Turkey. While continuing his university education, he studied cinema at the International Youth Film Production Workshop which was jointly run by Sunny Fredonia, Atlantic Film and the US Department of State. After his education in the USA, he started working in the field of cinema. In 2009; the premiere of his first documentary, “Now There Is, Now Ther İsn’t ” was held in New York City then it was screened at many festivals and won awards. He graduated from Artvin Çoruh University, Landscape Architecture Department in June 2010. After completing a one-term master’s degree in Ankara University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema; he left his education and decided to improve himself in the sector. In 2016, he founded Broccoli Production to produce commercials, documentaries and TV programs for national and international companies. The premiere of the documentary “The Innovation: Turkish Coffee Tales”, which he directed in 2021, was held in Washington DC and New York City. As Broccoli Production, he decided to continue his activities in New York City in the USA.
