Born and raised in Nicosia, Cyprus George Lernis is a drummer and world percussionist. In addition to the drums George specializes in a number of world percussion instruments such as: the Darbuka, Bendir, Riq, Kudums, Daire, Davul, Cajon, Pandeiro, Congas just to name a few. George holds a bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music in Jazz Performance and a master’s degree from Longy Conservatory in Modern American Music. During his time at Berklee George studied privately with Bob Gulloti, John Ramsey, Jerry Leake, Mark Walker, Gary Burton, Victor Mendoza and Gary Chaffee among others. Over the last few years George has recorded and collaborated with prominent figures such as: Dave Liebman, Anat Cohen, Antonio Sanchez, Tiger Okoshi, Mehmet Ali Salnikol, Robert Labaree, Bertram Lehmann and Jerry Leake to name a few. Currently he resides in Boston, Massachusetts where he teaches privately and performs in a number of groups such as the GRAMMY nominated big band "What'snext?", the "Dunya" ensemble, the "Othello in the Seraglio" a coffee house opera as well as two of his own groups: "The George Lernis Jazz Quartet" and "Muscari" performing music from the Mediterranean regions and the surrounding areas.

Mehrnam Rastegari is a prominent Persian musician, film score composer, singer, violinist, and master Kamancheh player. She has been featured in some of the most prestigious music festivals worldwide, including GlobalFest in NYC, USA, Secret Planet in NYC, USA, Fajr International Music Festival in Tehran, Iran, the WOMEX (World Music Expo) in Tampere, Finland, Ragas Live Festival in NYC, USA, Let Her Sing in SF, USA, the International Competition named after Tlep Aspantaiuly in Astana, Kazakhstan, and numerous concerts across the world. Rastegari is an extraordinary Kamancheh performer, acclaimed by some of the finest Kamancheh artists and instructors globally, who have certified her as a Master Kamancheh player. She is a GMW alumna and a musical artist for the "World Music Institute," contributing to their multiple projects, including music performances, WMI Plus interviews, and podcasts. She was a featured guest speaker at the TEDx event.

Raphaelle commenced piano lessons at the age of 4, prompted by the hearing issues she encountered as a result of multiple early-age infections and surgeries. Throughout her youth the music of composers such as Ennio Morricone, Jerry Goldsmith, and Francois de Roubaix inspired her talent. She graduated from the music conservatory of Lille, France in 2002 and eventually landed a marketing position with Google, which she left in 2015 after a life-changing event at Abbey Road Studios which inspired her to pursue her lifelong passion for music and film scoring. 2021 was a landmark year for Raphaelle in which she scored the Emmy Award-winning Disney+/National Geographic nature docu series Secrets of the Whales, produced by James Cameron and narrated by Sigourney Weaver. Baltimore native Brandon Woody was referred to as an artist on the rise in the region by the Baltimore Sun in 2015 at the age of 17. Since then, Woody has gone on to become an international artist, performing with his band, Upendo, curating projects for major museums, collaborating with international brands and performing at major venues and institutions around the globe. Woody uses music as a tool for healing, genuine connection and celebrating community. Woody started his own band, UPENDO in 2015. Since then, the group has gone on to perform internationally with regular concerts across the east coast. Notable performances from the band include their 2019 performance at the Harlem Stage, 2021 performance at the Walters Art Museum, Baltimore’s 2022 Vegan SoulFest, the 2022 closing of Baltimore’s Lexington Market, and their 2022 residency at the University of Maryland. Upendo’s concert experiences are comprised of original music composed by Woody and fellow Upendo collaborator, Troy Long. Woody has also had the privilege of performing alongside artists such as Stefon Harris, Tarus Mateen, Tim Green, Theljon Allen, Sean Jones, Robert Glasper, Derrick Hodge, Solange, Craig Alston, Terri-Lyne Carrington, Quincy Phillips, Benny Maupin, Jon Faddis and Danilo Perez, who have all greatly influenced his artistry and musical taste. This work garnered the attention of international brands which lead to his collaborations with Calvin Klein (One Future), Saucony, Vogue Italy, Nike, Reebok X Eames, Union Los Angeles, High Snobiety X Newport Jazz Festival, Somewhere DC. Brandon has also curated projects with the Baltimore Museum of Art, Walters Art Museum, Reginald F Lewis Museum, August Wilson Center, MOMA PS1. Woody also had the opportunity of casting musicians and acting as a band leader in an upcoming Apple TV series, Lady in the Lake to be released in the fall of 2023. In 2021, Woody was named a Bach/Conn endorsed Artist and was named the Best musician to watch by the Baltimore Magazine in 2022. Brandon’s other accolades include the 2021 Best Musician of the Year Award by the Baltimore Crown Awards, 2020 Emerging Voice Award by the Festival of New Trumpet and articles by the Baltimore Banner, Baltimore Sun, True Laurels, BmoreArt, Makers of the USA, Paper Magazine and Schone Magazine. Matvey Kulakov is an award-winning editor, composer and sound designer. Our New President, Matvey’s first feature as editor, premiered at Sundance 2018 where it won a Special Jury Award for Editing. The short version of the film was released by Field of Vision in 2017 and was a Vimeo Staff Pick. Working as sound designer and composer, Matvey collaborated with the art collective Pussy Riot on multiple live performances and installations. As a member of Third Party Films, a NY-based film production company, Matvey has worked on several feature documentaries including The Truth About Killer Robots (2018 - HBOMax/ TIFF premiere) about the perils of automation, The Conspiracy (2022) (DTLA Film Festival 2023 - best editing), an animated feature about the history of conspiracy theories and antisemitism starring Liev Schreiber, Jason Alexander and Lake Bell, and How to Rob Banks For Dummies (post-production - 2024) about the performance artist Joe Gibbons. The Lakota Daughters (2020), a 30 min short that Matvey edited, has played dozens of festivals and received numerous awards. Most recently, Matvey edited and animated The Town That Shot the Sheriff, a film about a successful rebellion led by a group of upstate New Yorkers against the building of a natural gas pipeline on their land.
