CUTTER HODIERNE is a documentary cinematographer. He has also worked as an award-winning feature film director. His debut feature film FISHING WITHOUT NETS, a story of pirates in Somalia told from the perspective of the pirates, won 'Best Director' at the Sundance Film Festival and was called "Sundance's most beautiful film" by The Wrap. His short film of the same title garnered international acclaim, including the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance. The short was expanded into the first scripted feature film financed by VICE Studios and distributed by FOX. “Karim Philippe Saad was born in Beirut, Lebanon and he is now been living in Dubai, United Arab Emirates since 2007. Karim is holder of a bachelor degree in Communication Arts from the renowned Saint Joseph University in Beirut. He then went to Paris to undergo many specialized studies in 16mm film editing, sound & image. He made his debut in Lebanon in the TV production industry where he was mainly responsible for the production of TV shows, commercials & promotional films. His love for strong visuals helped him go further in his career and in 2013, Karim started exploring virtual reality filmmaking, which was a turning point in his professional life. In 2014 Karim established Giga Works in Dubai, his virtual reality (VR) film studio, offering 360º content capture and storytelling, VR experience, and customized GigaBox cardboards. Karim created and produced the first VR experience for marketing use in the Middle East for Rainbow Milk. He produced the local and international award winning VR experience for “Wild Wadi Water Park” – Jumeirah Group. Karim’s work also involved production of short documentaries and VR experiences for DP World, DEWA, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Strata, Etihad Rail and Dubai Design District; as well as user experiences for Mercedes Benz Middle East, Dodge North America, Columbia and Ski Dubai. Karim has been invited as guest speaker at the MENA Cristal, Dubai International Film Festival and ITCfest; had numerous interviews with Al Arabiya News TV Channel and MIT Technology review. Sophie Ansel is a storyteller and adventurer, delivering stories through the medium of film, journalism, novels, radio and documentaries. She has a deep love for exploring different cultures and defines herself as a human rights and environmentalist advocate. Her many experiences in places all over the world have led her to discover values of courage, solidarity and nobleness in people deprived of power and of voice, yet armed with an incredible resilience and will to survive. Sophie has investigated issues such as human trafficking and slavery in South East Asia and was one of the first journalists to campaign and denounce the genocide of the Rohingya in Burma within French media coverage. To denounce the atrocities of human trafficking and boat slavery, authority corruption and human rights violations against refugees, Sophie wrote graphic novel ‘Burmese Moons’, which will be released in 2017. She has also written ‘First They Erased Our Name’ (original title ‘Nous les innommables, un taboo birman’), the biography of Rohingya Habib and an exploration of the genocide taking place against the Rohingya people, who she followed for six years from Burma to the detention centres of Australia. Sophie has also written ‘Forbidden Tears’ (original title ‘Les Larmes interdites’), the true story of a 4-year-old girl forced into resilience during the Pol Pot genocide. Sophie also wrote graphic novel ‘Burmese Moons’, which will be released in English in 2017.​ After living and traveling in South East Asia for five years from 2001, Sophie birthed a great concern for the environment as a result of seeing the destructive activities of humans on the natural landscape as she explored oceans and tropical rainforest.‘I always believe I’m part of the population who has a power that the majority of people do not: I have a voice and I’d like to use it well. I want to give a voice to the voiceless.’ Sophie’s heart for human rights led to her desire to be as equally involved with the movement that aims to give a voice to nature, animals and the planet. In 2013 after time in Indonesia’s waters to qualify as a professional diver, Sophie joined several missions with the Ocean Agency to document the state of the ocean. She also worked for Ocean71 magazine following the work of scientists in American Samoa. After directing TV reports for the French National Television in Indonesia, Burma, Cambodia and Thailand, Sophie co- produced with Seaview 360 a series of 5 films for the Great Barrier Reef Foundation in 2015 before working on the ‘Chasing Coral’ (Official Selection, Sundance Film Festival 2017) American film production in 2016 as a camera operator. She produced another film in Monaco with Seaview 360 before being selected to join the program VR FOR GOOD, launched by Oculus.

Gabriela Díaz Arp is an independent director and producer passionate about the ways visual language can deepen human understanding and connection. She has directed and produced a number of independent films, exhibits and interactive experiences, as well as co-founded production companies Rabbit Raccoon and Las Palmas Studio. Some of her clients include New York Times, Blue Chalk Media, CNN International, Univision, Emory University and the United Nations. She is currently working on her first feature film in her motherland of Puerto Rico. The film, Matininó, tells the story of a multi-generational family of women transforming their experience with domestic violence and misogyny into a science fiction film. Her last film, Meeting a Monster, which explores the memories and motivations of former white supremacist Angela King through a virtual reality experience, premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and was shown at festivals around the world including Cannes NEXT, Sheffield Doc Fest, Atlanta Film Festival and New Orleans Film Festival. Gabriela has a Master's in Visual Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been a Knight Fellow with the Sundance Institute, a participant in Oculus’s VR for Good program, and most recently a Studio IX grantee, honoring her work as both a mother and filmmaker.

Jerome Foster II is a passionate and visionary speaker, consultant, activist, and organizer who strives to create positive social and environmental change through art, technology, and policy. He is currently the Curator at the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art, where he oversees the exhibitions that showcase the diversity and richness of Asian cultures and histories. He is also the youngest-ever White House Environmental Justice Advisory Councilmember, advising President Joe Biden and developing policies on climate change, environmental justice, federal sustainability, and other areas that affect the health and well-being of Americans and the planet. With a background in software engineering and virtual reality development, Jerome is also the Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of Waic Up, an international charity that mobilizes and empowers young people to vote, advocate, and take action on the most pressing issues of our time, such as climate justice, racial justice, and human rights. He studied International Environmental Governance, Policy, and Social Justice at Harvard University, and was invited to speak at the United Nations High Commission on Human Rights. He has also been recognized with multiple awards and honors, such as the Defender of Science Award, the Youth Environmental Champion Award, and the World Series of Entrepreneurship. Sonder Visuals is an award winning Irish production company made up of filmmaking pair, Sarah Fitzgerald and Theo Jebb. Theo is a multi EMMY nominated wildlife cinematographer, he worked as a principle cameraman on several productions, including a National Geographic Wild series with Brainfarm cinema. Alisha Vasudev is a visual storyteller, geographer and National Geographic Explorer based out of Mumbai, India whose practice seeks to explore interdependencies between ecology and human life, with a special interest in weather and the atmosphere. With research experience in natural resource management and food security in rural India; she uses her understanding of geography and environment to engage her audience in the fascinating phenomenon to do with the natural world. Vasudev creates cartographic illustrations that bring together photography, data, maps, and earth science - the pillars of her practice. She also conducts participatory projects exploring geographical phenomena that people encounter in their everyday lives. She was one of 24 photojournalists in the 2021 Women Photograph Mentorship Class.

Gabriel Miller is a writer/director currently developing The Twilight Zone into a VR project with Bourne Identity director Doug Liman. His short film Sisyphus’ Supper played at the 2015 Cannes Film Short Film Corner. Miller collaborated with James Skotchdopole, Oscar-winning producer of The Revenant, on developing the visual design for the forthcoming film Call of Duty. He has also served as a development director at ABC, creating shows for Netflix. He also produced SNL Backstage featuring Justin Timberlake for Saturday Night Live. Gabriel produced a global video campaign for Storyhunter Studios, creating 84 videos in 42 days with filmmakers across the world using a new 360 camera from the creator of Android. His commercial clients include Vogue, GQ, CondeNast, AT&T and American Airlines.
