About George
I am a Documentary filmmaker with 12 years of experience and have worked for various organizations and companies. Some are Nike, The Springhill Company, Global Fund, Kenya Red Cross Society, UNFPA Somalia, UNFPA Kenya, UNHCR Kenya, and Mastercard Foundation. My company, Anecdote Films, is registered by the Kenya Films Classification Board, and I have assisted international production houses, companies, and organizations to film in Kenya by arranging film permits, special passes (work permits), and sourcing of talent, equipment, and location scouting. I am also an accredited media practitioner licensed by the Media Council of Kenya.

Elias and Cuba
- Documentary DP

This tells the story of two, refugee visual artists: Elias and Cuba. They are beneficiaries of UNHCR Kenya's Artists for Refugees program, which seeks to impart artistic skills, and empower refugees. The beauty of Elias's and Cuba's paintings is the dichotomy: Cuba's paintings are "fire", while Elias's are "ice". Watch, and you'll understand what I mean.

This is a story of two brothers. One is a recovering addict, who tells the story of how, with the intervention of Global Fund - through their Principal Recipient, Kenya Red Cross Society - was able to get on the path of recovery. The recovering addict's brother speaks of how the family was affected by addiction, and how grateful they are to the organizations for their help.
Mark Otieno: Kenya's Greatest Sprinter
- Documentary DP
- Creative Director
- Video Editor - Documentary
This is an independent, short documentary that my partner and I were inspired to create. In a country, and in a region, known for long distance runners, Mark Otieno dared to believe himself, and test his speed in short distances: The 100 and 200 meter sprints.
