    I came up with a story idea, pitched it to the editor and it was approved. I then traveled to the mining area where i interviewed sources for the story and also took photographs to accompany the story.

    I pitched this story after Zambian president Michael Sata died. It was approved and i managed to cover the riot on site by observing what was happening, talking to sources and making phone calls to those i needed to interview. I finally wrote the story and sent to AP who then gave it to the client, Washington Times.
