I am a freelance journalist based in Lusaka, Zambia with about 19 years of experience. I am able to supply text and TV journalist as well as production of television documentaries. I came up with a story idea, pitched it to the editor and it was approved. I then traveled to the mining area where i interviewed sources for the story and also took photographs to accompany the story.

I pitched this story after Zambian president Michael Sata died. It was approved and i managed to cover the riot on site by observing what was happening, talking to sources and making phone calls to those i needed to interview. I finally wrote the story and sent to AP who then gave it to the client, Washington Times.
I presented the idea and pitched it. After it was approved, I set up interviews, filmed and edited. Afterwards, I sent it to AFP as a feature story.
