Hi there, I am a passionate cameraman, a versatile non-linear editor and a second to none sound recordist. I am experienced in working under pressure, to tight deadlines and at a high quality for international news organizations like CNN International, BBC, CBS and DW Deutsche Welle. I believe in experiments to achieve creative and compelling images and audio beds, am always willing to go the extra mile to set my work apart from others. I have vast technical knowledge and experience and am multi-skilled. I am a fast learner and can adapt to new technologies very quickly. I have worked at CNN International Islamabad as a cameraman, I covered many news events and made several news and feature stories. Currently I am working for different broadcasters like BBC World News, CBS, DW Deutsche Welle (German TV Channel), CCTV English (China Central TV) and GlobalPost on their news/feature stories and live setups through AKS Films and as a freelancer. With news I also work on long and short films and observational documentaries. I have worked on many documentaries but a few are here where I worked as DOP/Cameraman "The Long Way home" UNDP and “To walk with pride” for Rotary International. As sound recordist for "Every Last Child" commissioned by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. "Beverley Giesbrecht" CBC Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. "Choked Pipes" Heartfile NGO. I was trained by CNN’s senior international cameramen, film makers and sound engineers like Farhad Shadrawan, Scott Mcwhinnie and Engineer Richard Stocks. I have worked with EMMY, PRIX ITALIA, BAFTA, award winning Film Maker/Director Tom Roberts.
