I am a film maker with many years experience. My work has taken me throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and The Middle East. I am now based in Dubai and work internationally. I have created content for many big brands in London and Dubai. I also enjoy a good dose of adventure and travel and I love filming in remote deserts and jungles, learning about different cultures and experiencing lifestyles far removed from the city hustle. My feature documentary 'Eternal Ink: Tattoos from the Spirit Worlds', which explores the origins and reasons behind indigenous tattooing, has been released in 2020 and available on Amazon Prime and many other platforms.

Filmed over 8 years, Director Maellyn Macintosh sets off an an epic journey to understand what unites all indigenous cultures through their tattooing practices. From the tattooed women of the Indian jungle, to shapeshifting shamans, and tattoos that give supernatural power and protection, this is also a personal journey for her as she receives her own tattoos and begins to understand what is at the core of some of the oldest known tattooing traditions.
