SELIM HARBI: Transmedia storyteller, videographer, and cinematographer, and award-wining director graduated Bachelor of Art in Audiovisual Media at Beuth University of applied sciences in Berlin. He worked as assistant director on THE ENEMY a journalistic VR-Experience around war and empathy. Multimedia grant recipient of the prestigious WORLD PRESS PHOTO to produce „Zatla Blues“. Focused on contemporary African and human displacement issues. Good ground experience and flexibility with a special fair for tech-trends and experimentation, he is a sensitive and all-rounded shooter, as he is perpetually developing new generative media concepts and cutting-edge projects.

    786 years ago, the first African came to India. Mubarak Al Nubi aka Baba Ghor came from the Nubian region, after a dream he had, he commissioned himself to spread Islam. An epic journey where reality and fiction melting into an incredible story. Living in northern India, the Siddi community is estimated at around 50k. From Missionaries to Slaves their status changed several times as the political Indian environment involved. Today, almost absent from the official Indian narrative, those Afro-Indians are an alive testimony of an untold chapter of the History.
